lupincat you have a carrier/wrap to use? I do! They will be very heavily used lol. I still need to play around with the K'Tan since it's new to me.

sleepymonkey cmb , what gas drops are you using? Violet has had two rough afternoons of fussiness, and I'm willing to try anything to give her some relief. Bicycle legs help a little, but I'd love to get ahead of the issue. I have been using Mylicon gas drops with DS but I used to use Target's own brand of gas drops for DD and those worked well. She did not like Little Remedies brand for some reason and would spit it out. I also swear by Mommy's Bliss gripe water for hiccups (gets rid of them instantly) and I know it's supposed to help with gas as well but we never used it for that.

I finally broke out my new Lily Jade diaper bag and packed it tonight so I can start using it. I have been using the backpack diaper bag we registered for but I hate it. I'll let H have it all to himself.

river I just get the target or Walmart brand of Mylicon. It goes straight in his bottle (I forget where I learned to do that, but it works for us) For gripe water, I like little remedies sleepymonkey I asked about the bottles wondering if maybe they were the culprit or could help. I just moved DS2 from the avent classic/anticolic to the natural and it helps.

angryowl @somerisles breastfeeding cramps are no fun! I remember them with dd1 but they were way worse this time. They seemed to die down yesterday at day 5 but good night! The nurse and LC at the hospital said they are usually worse with each babe. Hopefully yours are getting better angryowl. rosesquared when you breastfeed, natural oxytocin is released causing uterine contractions. They are good as they help the uterus go back down to size but holy heck they can hurt!

Haha...dr.google is not always useful.
But I also just googled post spinal back pain bc it has been hurting when I'm up too much since in the hospital and I have some occasional associated burning nerve pain over my R hip. I now and worried I have a hematoma or abscess (though I would at this point be/feel ill with the latter) so I so it too!

cmb, I am experimenting and think I'm noticing that DS is less gassy when we use the Avent natural bottles than the Tommee Tippee bottles. He has a very strong suck and will drink a bottle really quickly. I think the Tommee Tippee bottles come out a little faster and he might need the slower Avent bottles to slow him down a bit. I also think some of his fussiness is coming from the 4 week leap. I know Wonder Weeks uses their due date rather than their birth date to determine when leaps will be but he has all of the signs that point to that leap (he's 4w tomorrow but only 3w from his due date). He has been awake more, looking at us and more aware of surroundings and also wants to be held all the time. He seems a bit overstimulated.

I am glad you get to go home irish14, congrats on progress rosesquared! I am hungry every minute breastfeeding, geez!! I packed away my maternity clothes, my DH said I should get rid of them. Why is it so hard? I know this baby is my last. Pregnancy amnesia already set in, and it doesn't seem so bad now. I stare at my sweet baby soaking every minute, knowing it's my last time, very bitter sweet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
