Anyone else up overnight? I have major issues staying awake while nursing so let's have some fun chats If you could be a celeb for a day who would you pick?

Currently up over here! Although I got DS2 back down and now I'm pumping. I can't wait to ditch this thing!
Do the royals count as celebrity? I'd like to be Princess Catherine for a day. But really only for a day, I couldn't handle the scrutiny and pressure!

lupincat how long do you expect to have to pump? I had to do some pumping while DD was in the nicu - such a pain babystandish nobody's brain should be working at this hour. We have cake downstairs and I really want some, I think the nursing munchies are setting in...!

irish14 I'm not really sure how long I'll be pumping. I only do it 2-3 times a day. We're also nursing and supplementing because of weight loss. Truthfully if formula wasn't so expensive I'd just bottle feed.

Baby girl just gave us a nice 3 hour stretch. I'm hoping for at least one more and that DS doesn't decide to wake up early.

DS only gave us 2 1/2 hour stretches last night, which sucks since he's FF and usually give us 3 1/2 - 4 hour stretches at night. I swear this kid is an eating machine and is drinking more formula than they recommend for his age and has since the start. He's just a really hungry, which is the complete opposite of how his sister was (and still is).

rosesquared totally counts. My cake is all chocolate... but cacao beans come from plants... that counts too right? We ended up bringing DD to bed at some point last night. I'm beginning to see why some people cosleep... DS didn't, but this one sleeps SO much better snuggled next to me. I at least get 2 hr chunks, and don't have to struggle to stay awake. We borrowed a sidecar bed so will have to set that up and try it tonight.

lupincat we supplemented with my son bc I didn't make enough - even if you nurse for part of his intake you'll save on formula. And in the end it was so nice to have either option. Did you get all the free samples in the mail? If you didn't, go sign up for a private registry at BRU or Amazon, or for updates from similac or Enfamil. They send you a couple full size cans for samples, if you want to have some free stuff on hand.

I figure if I don't use it I can always donate it but you're right, it's good to have on hand.
