lupincat we supplemented with my son bc I didn't make enough - even if you nurse for part of his intake you'll save on formula. And in the end it was so nice to have either option. Did you get all the free samples in the mail? If you didn't, go sign up for a private registry at BRU or Amazon, or for updates from similac or Enfamil. They send you a couple full size cans for samples, if you want to have some free stuff on hand.  Oh definitely. I may have even signed my mom up to double up on things. I figure if I don't use it I can always donate it but you're right, it's good to have on hand. omg signing other people up is such a good idea!! |

One of the nurses gave us three cans Thursday, and I opened the last one yesterday. These two eat a lot, with me pumping (not a lot). I wish I could up my milk - I'm doing tea, fenugreek, and lots of water. Both twins have a 4 hour stretch in them, but we can't get it aligned. We're doing one up, both up to try to keep some sanity. One wakes up in 3 hours for the first night feed, then the other gets up in 3 hours for the second. It's not horrible, but I'd love it if they had a talk and decided to gift us with more than two hours of sleep. |

Let the fun begin again...
Baby has been cluster feeding like whoa. Spits up and immediately wants more boob.
Today she kept trying to latch onto my cheek whenever she got hungry, which was hilariously cute.

I have the opposite problem, just pumped because I was so sick of painfully engorged boobs, now I have cabbage leaves in my bra, freaking out that I just prolonged my suffering by pumping. If I didn't like nursing so much later on, I would quit, happily, I hate nursing the first few months.

river did your hospital sign you up for a free case of formula from the company since you have multiples? I worked OB when I was a floor nurse and for preemies and multiples they had a paper they could fill out to get a free case shipped. Maybe your pedi does as well?
