Hi guys! We had a baby and he's 6 days old today! It's been quite a whirlwind but we are all doing well and getting to know each other. Breastfeeding has been a bit of a struggle and he doesn't like to sleep on his back but we are making progress each day. They suspect he has tongue tie so we are getting that evaluated, he's seeing an osteopath to help straighten him out after being breeched, and he is getting an ultrasound at 6 weeks to make sure his hips are in good order. He is a busy baby! 😂 Here is baby Jasper after his first bath today, which he hated. PDQ.  |

DS had his 1 month appt today. He's up to 10 lbs and is doing great. I brought up my concern about him eating too much but the pedi wasn't concerned at all so that made me feel better. She did say to stop letting him sleep on me during the day. I know we made that mistake with DD and we paid the price so since he only just started doing it, I need to nip it in the bud now. But it's so hard.

Congratulations, piratecat! Mine have learned to love the bath. He's beautiful. The piranhas go for their 4 week well check Monday, and I'm expecting a solid weight gain. Hopefully L will be above the 1st percentile. I'm weaning off my blood pressure meds and done with weekly BP checks at my OB. I'm jealous of all of the pics of babies sleeping on mom all snuggly. We also had our 1 month we'll visit today. 10lbs 8 oz....I always compare to DD1&2 stats and DD3 is still in the lead
Why must big sisters put stickers all over baby and wake her up when she's actually content during these evening witching hours?!?!
