DS actually slept 7 straight hours last night and only woke up because I got nervous that he was still asleep so I woke him up. I think it's because he only catnapped yesterday so he was extra tired but it was great. It's a rainy weekend here so not sure what we'll be doing. We need to get DD out but there aren't too many fun inside places around here.

My best friend of 36 years is visiting from D.C. today! I'm excited to see her and have her meet the babies. We have a 3 y/o birthday party later, but I think I'm staying home and letting my husband go since it's his goddaughter.
We had a great day yesterday - success with the ring sling, a nice walk, and a surprise visit by one of my coworkers.
It's rainy again here, so our planned visit to a nursery might have to wait.

I just realized the STD company didn't deposit my paycheck this week. And of course I have some bills due so hopefully I can get it straightened out Monday morning.

So jealous of your 7 hour stretch sleepymonkey! I'm attempting to keep B awake longer during the day. He sleeps so much during the day and is pretty fussy at night. I'm hoping this helps. C was also up twice last night so I'm exhausted. |

It's rainy here today too. I've started working on DS's baby book 🙂 but it's difficult when I just want to snuggle him all the time. Lol

My kitchen has been invaded by tiny ants. I'm sure it's from the recent rain but I just feel like bleaching everything now. I put down baits, which work really well, but now I'm dealing with even more ants while they devour the bait. I think tonight will be a take out dinner night because I'm too grossed out to want to cook.

Life has totally gotten away from me, but we came home yesterday and are getting settled in! DS slept so well last night and went down easily between feedings that I'm sure he's setting me up for disappointment pretty soon LOL But while we were in the hospital a raccoon killed six of our chickens  not a fun thing to deal with when we got home. I have a free minute before the rest of the house wakes up, so it's time for me to do some hit compresses and see if I can't get my engorgement under control. Hopefully now that we're home I'll be able to keep up with the board! |

We moved B from our room into his own room last night. When we moved C she slept so much better and I remember thinking we should've done it sooner. B seems to like his own space better too. He still only gave us 3 hour stretches but my sleep and his during those stretches was a lot better.

I think tonight will be a take out dinner night because I'm too grossed out to want to cook. Ugh ants are the worst. We had to call in an exterminator last summer because I was vacuuming up literally hundreds of ants in my kitchen several times a day. Hopefully the bait takes care of your ants! |

DS2 is sucking the life out of me literally and figuratively. He's lucky he's so cute. My BFF's kids are getting baptized today and I feel so guilty that I can't go. If DH wasn't working today I could manage but I just can't wrangle both boys quietly in the church and then the party afterwards. Ugh, I just feel so horrible because it's an important day and I don't get to see her often since they moved |

emmalynn, sorry about your chickens but yay for being home. tortor4, we need to figure out when we're going to move DS to his room. I know we moved DD before my maternity leave was over but she was much better about sleeping flat in her crib than he is. He won't sleep long outside of the RNP. I swore we wouldn't let him sleep in the RNP but we did and now I regret it. lupincat, the ant baits seemed to help because they're mostly gone this morning. I found they were coming from a minuscule crack by a window so we're patching that today. And I'll probably call our pest control guy tomorrow because I want to make sure there's not more.
