irish14 I should try side lying nursing. The LC had me try it and I did like it but for some reason haven't tried it at home.

piratecat, can the Infant Optics camera be mounted on the wall or does it need to sit on something? Ours is mounted on the wall. I think it had a keyhole at the base and H just put a screw in the wall to hang it from. Good! I just ordered it from Amazon based on the reviews. I only got one camera until I know I like it and then I'll order the other camera.

How you know you're tired: you begin to type out a post only to vaguely remember you already posted that same information today.
My pumping output keeps getting smaller. I'm taking fenugreek, drinking tea, and trying to pump more often, but sleep wins out over pumping every time.

It mimics a cluster feed.

piratecat do you swaddle when you put your LO to bed? DS won't sleep in his pack n play at night unless swaddled. He's fine during the day unswaddled for naps but night is a different story.

We do swaddle at night and have experimented with different kinds. Isn't it strange how different they are from day to night?

My DH is on call so I am pretty much on my own this week and end. I am fine other than my 4 year old is just so high matience lately. My 9 and 11 y/o start day camp for a few hours, and my 13 y/o is always off with friends. My 4 y/o's friend moved, I don't know if any other kids his age since preschool doesn't start till fall. I seriously an thinking about looking into part time day care just because I feel like he is always bored. I am trying to do fun things everyday, but the minute I am done with one thing he is wondering what great thing is next, the park, the store, the library, but I don't want to run around with the baby every minute. Hope you all get some good rest Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

DD would never sleep in her crib for naps, it had to be on us our eventually on the couch. But she was fine in her crib at night. DS sleeps fine in his RNP after 9 or 10pm, but he's hit or miss during the day and usually wants to be held for naps. Infants are mysterious creatures.

sagen, good luck with your 4 y/o. My 3 y/o is very similar in that she is high maintenance and always needs to be doing something and going somewhere, it was exhausting before DS was born but now it's even worse because I don't want to be toting him around everywhere. The 2 days a week she goes to daycare are a blessing and she really likes going because she's entertained. FFMC - I have been going to my parents' house in the days I'm home with both kids just so I have someone else to help entertain her and they have a pool so that is fun for her.

river I'm also seeing decrease in pumping output and I don't know if it's just that the baby is getting more or what but it sure is discouraging. irish14 I'll have to try power pumping!

sleepymonkey I hope you like the monitor! Infants are indeed mysterious. I don't know how you all do it with another kid, or two, or four! I can hardly take care of the one baby and myself.

DD2 (3) stomped into the house with crossed arms and her angry face because "daddy made me mad"
didn't like how I responded, so stomped upstairs "I'm going in my room"
And then I heard her yell out the window at my DH "I'm mad at you"
I should start stocking up now on wine and chocolate for when I have 3 teenage daughters!!

If it helps, when I had my first I couldn't imagine doing it with 2. But here I am and it's not as bad as I've imagined it to be.
