piratecat river also check your valves. If you have a Medela, those little white rubber discs can wear out pretty fast, and you lose suction if they're worn.

sleepymonkey no shame at all. Take all the extra handa you can get. Dd1 goes to daycare 3 days/week and the other two days a grandma comes up for now to help entertain her, take her places, etc. Or hold baby so I can spend time with dd1. It's necessary. It's so busy and dd1 has always been high maintenance but is a little more so now that she's not the star of the show!

sleepymonkey I hope you like the monitor! Infants are indeed mysterious. I don't know how you all do it with another kid, or two, or four! I can hardly take care of the one baby and myself. If it helps, when I had my first I couldn't imagine doing it with 2. But here I am and it's not as bad as I've imagined it to be. Same, and my H was off the entire time I was with DS1. It helps that I send DS1 to daycare whenever it's open during the week.

irish14 I should try side lying nursing. The LC had me try it and I did like it but for some reason haven't tried it at home. I also need to do more of this. I mostly haven't because I like to watch tv while nursing, ha.
