So....hi. I kind of just jumped in and started posting. When you lurk for a long time, it doesn't feel weird to respond, but I'm sure it's weird for you all.
I was the same name on TCF and previously lurked on TD. I'm 32, and DH and I have been married for 3 years. DS was born on 5/7 via c-section due to failure to progress. He was head down but turned a bit sideways and just couldn't move well enough. Overall, the pregnancy was great, but I was on pelvic rest for the majority of the time: first due to an SCH that resolved itself and then due to a cervical polyp....ugh. He's my first child, but DH's daughter from his prior marriage lives with us. She's turning 11 this year and is super excited to be a big sister.
I was afraid to post in the BMB previously due to PAIF/PgAL brain. Plus, my work schedule just didn't allow for it. I live in Texas in the Dallas/Ft. Worth suburbs and work in Finance. I plan on going back to work in September, but for now I have a little more downtime to participate (sort of)....at the very least, I need a distraction while nursing.
Anyway, that's a little bit about me. Congrats on all the adorable squishes!
