My mom is finally going to see the baby today, he is 1 month tomorrow. I am excited, for her to see him in person. Knock on wood.. but my OS/OALD seems to be calming down thank goodness. I drank sage tea for a week till it seemed to make my son fussy. I fed one side from the start, and did awhile of 2 feeds per breast. I took Sudafed 3 days until but I stopped for side effects, and I excessively wore cabbage leaves a lot. I still get full feeling, but they are soft after nursing, his poop is yellow again, he rarely chokes, and falls asleep nursing. Worth it all to shorten the PITA that is OS by 2 mo, it usually last for me until 12 weeks... buy maybe I just got lucky. FX it resolves quickly chknmaSent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Is this where we are settling down for good? As opposed to APTM, or whatever its new name will be? It doesn't really matter to me since it's easy enough to check both places on Tapatalk, although my OCD side wants to be consolidated into one forum.

Both boys gave us two 4 hour stretches last night. Then refused to settle after eating at 5am. L is stuffed up right now and is so sad 😣

babystandish GL today. My 3yo has definitely been the more challenging one lately: not listening, defiant, no consequences/punishment seems to phase her. She is a strong willed girl! Dd2 is so easy compared to her. Glad your OS is better sagen. I'm hoping mine calms down but I'm sure it won't for a while. But I guess it helps to build a freezer stash for when I go back to work so there's that I guess.

GL to all the ladies dealing with OS, hope it gets better quickly!
I'm in the weird place where I feel like I almost have too much - like she chokes occasionally and seems to get mad when she wants to comfort nurse and there's still lots of milk left. And she legit vom'd the other day. Hoping she's just getting used to nursing since we're only 2.5w. It's just odd bc I had low supply with DS so this is new territory for me. I think I'll wait a few weeks to start pumping so I don't cause problems.

H went back to work today so it's my first day with the kiddos alone. The baby is so easy compared to the toddler. He's been defiant lately so it's been kind of rough lately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Ds1 is super defiant lately too, particularly around supper. He refuses to eat no matter what we cook, even if he helps meal plan with us. He even refused spaghetti the other night which is his favorite.

Both boys gave us two 4 hour stretches last night. Then refused to settle after eating at 5am. L is stuffed up right now and is so sad 😣 That's our life right now too! Baby girl probably has a 5 or 6 hour sleep in her, but her brother just started going over 4. And he gets up at 5:30 at the latest. tortor4, we have a City Select that we'll start using once we're out of the snap and go stroller and I already love it! GL to everyone having issues with the big kids! We went to get hip x-rays today, which don't require an appointment and realized the script actually says ultrasounds, which do. The doctor repeatedly said x-rays, and I just took the scripts without looking. And the way the scheduling works, we can't do both kids in one day bc they only do two a day and one was booked for a month out. Annoying and I'm pissed for not noticing so I could have attempted to get both in back to back.

lastkiss us exactly as well. Dinner is like pulling teeth with dd1 to get her to sit and eat even if she picks it. Any other meal she's fine and of course after she refuses dinner she wants a snack.

The boys have literally been trading off being awake tonight. I think I've got an hour of sleep total.
And of course I was supposed to go to my colleagues call yo the bar tomorrow morning which I'm now going to miss.

I spent the weekend bragging to family and friends that we had an easy, laid back baby who didn't give us trouble. Apparently he decided to take my ego down a notch last night . I don't know what i ate but it seems to have given the poor little guy some awful gas.

emmalynn, as soon as I started telling everyone that DS was an incredibly chill and easy baby, he became very fussy and demanding for a few days. I swore I jinxed it but I think it was just a growth spurt.

Has anyone's baby gotten on a schedule yet? O turned 6 weeks yesterday and still sleeps whenever he wants, with some days where he sleeps most of the day and other days where he cat naps on and off all day. He goes to sleep for the night anytime from 8:30-10:30pm and sometimes gives us a 5 or 6 hr stretch at night but on average, we get 4 hr stretches. I know DD fell into a schedule for bedtime (she never napped on schedule but it wasn't for lack of trying on our part) but I can't remember at what age. Is DS still too young or should I be trying at this point to get him on a schedule? I feel like I forgot everything from DD.
