I figured we should start an informal weekly check-in, whoever remembers can post.
- Age/sex of your baby/babies?
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without?

- 6 week old b/g twins
- It's going well! L has a PT appointment tomorrow and hip ultrasound Tuesday. They also need a vaccine this week - our ped's office wouldn't do it at their month appointment because their insurance coverage wasn't official yet. Milestone wise, I took them out - for more than just a neighborhood walk - solo this weekend! It went well, which makes me feel good about doing it again.
- No questions/concerns atm.
- Formula feeding is going well. I'm doing my best to pump, and did increase my output by a few ounces/day by cluster pumping and taking more fenugreek.
QOTW: We like our rock and plays. They help everyone sleep well. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to transition them to more naps in their cribs and/or the pack and play.

- 6.5 weeks, boy
- it's going good. I don't remember it's being this hard to balance life with a new baby. Maybe cause there are 3u3 now.
- when will he sleep longer than 3 hours at night?!?! Anyone have any guesses? It's hard to parent on no sleep.
- no questions
- QOTW: A&A blanket. Good for everything!

It's going good. Next doctor appt isn't until 2 months so got a ways to go. She's doing really well though and I'm surprised how easy she is compared to the toddler.
-no questions/concerns right now
-nursing is going really well. She struggles with my OALD so I'm hoping she gets better with it.
-QOTM: hmmm probably the lillebaby carrier

- Age/sex of your baby/babies?
Baby girl turned one month old as of this past Saturday.
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
One month appointment is Tuesday and hopefully she gained weight. That's been our biggest struggle. I feel like we've lived at the pediatricians office with two visits a week for weight checks. We had our first real outing as a family of two 4 year olds and a newborn to the movies, and it was successful.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
Not right now.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
No questions. I have had mixed success with not using the nipple shield. I think we have it one day and the next we don't. We're getting there.
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without?
Nipple shield.

- Age/sex of your baby/babies?
Boy - 6 weeks today!
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
Going well. Next appointment isn't until he's 2 months. Still struggling with daytime sleep, especially if we're not at home. This evening I had to nurse him side-lying and then rest in the bed with him afterwards to keep him relaxed.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
Nothing I can think of right now.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
Nope!
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without?
Swaddles. They make a huge difference because he's so spastic when he sleeps. I suck at it compared to MH, so I got a swaddle strap on Amazon that helps a lot.

- Age/sex of your baby/babies? Boy, one month tomorrow!
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? We see the pedi on Wednesday. It's going ok, he's kind of a grumpy old man. He did accidentally roll from belly to back once but that was most definitely a fluke but cute anyways.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? I think that he has reflux but I'll be asking the pedi this week. He just gurgles and gags all.night.long.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? No questions. Just trying to keep with nursing even though I kind of hate it.
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without? Hm. I'm blanking on anything right now!

- Age/sex of your baby/babies? Boy, 7 weeks today
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? It's going well. He has become so much more aware in the past week or so. He watches his sister so intently and every time she talks to him, he gets smiley. It's really cute. His next appt is his 2 month on 7/3. Curious to see what his weight is - I have a feeling it will be over 11 lbs. The kid is growing like a weed.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Not right now.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? Nope. I think we need to up his formula intake again because he's wanting to eat more often.
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without? Gripe water. DS is just like DD was and gets violent hiccups all the time. The gripe water takes them away instantly almost every time.

Hi ladies! I've been sooo busy with three kids and MIA lately but I'm hoping to check in here more often! - Age/sex of your baby/babies? 5 weeks, 3 days, boy! - How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? No appointments until 2 months! His one month was last week and he's growing like a weed, went from 9lbs 0.3oz at his two week appointment to 10lbs 9oz 20 days later at his one month appt. - Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? I am just having a hard time with my c/s recovery. It's been slow going anyway but now it's getting bad again, pain wise, my belly hurts to the touch and I'm just pretty unhappy right now with that. My previous two c/s's were not like this - Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? Nope, nursing is going great. - QOTW: What baby item can you not live without? katie0919, this c-section recovery has been rough for me as well. Everyone told me that it would be easier than my first because it was planned and I wouldn't be going through labor this time but that was not the case. I'm 7 weeks out today and just now feeling decent. My belly is still a little tender and is not happy with anything pressing on it but I can finally get up from the couch without pain. I do still have a bad pain in one spot in my belly when I roll over/get up from bed which has me concerned. It makes me think maybe I should have opted fo try for a VBAC.

- Age/sex of your baby/babies?
2.5 week old girl
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
No appointment until 4 weeks. No real milestones yet.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
Any tips for getting newborns to like tummy time? K hates it so far! She's also kind of miserable most of her awake time unless she's nursing. She has very small bouts of awake content time. 🙁
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
Still struggling a bit with getting her to open her mouth wide enough and not bat me away with her hands. Going to a bf support group tomorrow though!
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without?
Right now our mai tai carrier. It's the only way to get her to sleep aside from nursing! So it's been a live saver!!

rosesquared Will she tolerate tummy time better if she laid on you? That's how we did TT with DS early on. He also gets his hands in the way when I'm trying to feed him. He'll actually try to latch on to his hands and gets frustrated when there's no milk. Silly baby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
