rosesquared I think it's pretty normal for then not to like tummy time. Baby girl doesn't like it and often uses her feet to inch her way forward, as well as, to accidentally flip herself from belly to back. I remember the pediatrician telling us with the boys that they would not like it so much to start, so to build their tolerance level by starting with a smaller amount of time and then slowly increasing it. It worked for the boys. Good luck! I too have issues with latching due to her arms. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

rosesquared, DS fusses during tummy time. Or falls asleep. Tonight was the first time he didn't do either during tummy time and I was proud of him until I realized he was spending the time licking the play mat. Strange little dude.

rosesquared it's normal for them to hate it. DS1 never liked it. Just keep up with it. Also, for the first 3 months of their lives, babies are little assholes and tiny balls of hate. Some days, it helps to remember that when they yell at you all day

rosesquared Will she tolerate tummy time better if she laid on you? That's how we did TT with DS early on. He also gets his hands in the way when I'm trying to feed him. He'll actually try to latch on to his hands and gets frustrated when there's no milk. Silly baby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk rosesquared, we did the same initially. They both get tired of it after a few minutes, but we started by doing 30 seconds.

rosesquared how long is she up for? At 2.5 weeks, babies really should only be up for about 1 hour at a time. This is probably just long to feed her and get her back to sleep most times. And yes, tummy time sucks. You could try using a breastfeeding pillow or a rolled up blanket to prop her up a bit so she doesn't have to work as hard right now. But honestly at that age tummy time for all my boys was on existant.

lastkiss that sounds perfect and sometimes she's even up for longer when we can't get her to sleep after a long feeding. But today she seemed to turn a corner with some non-crying awake time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gimmesugar I love the tummy time on me idea!! Thanks!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk No problem! You could accomplish two things at once by doing skin to skin during TT as well 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

- 6 weeks tomorrow a boy - Going well he is the sweetest! He has his 2 mo wwc in 2 weeks, not excited at all for it :/ Vaccines are great, but sad to see them get a shot - No - After a growth spurt my over supply ramped up again. Did full drained block nursing. It is working out so well. I nurse on one side twice, so 6 hour blocks. I have done this before, yet still confused on when and how to stop. I figure once it seems like he is not getting enough to back to normal? I get different opinions googling. - RnP... I had one before but my new one plugs in and rocks itself, so nice!!

- Age/sex of your baby/babies? Girl 1 mo today....how did that happen?
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
No doctor appt until 2mo check on 8/1. May need to take her in for spit up/projectile vomiting though, waiting for call back from pedi. She is starting social smile, which I love! They are rare but so cute! And she's definitely focusing her eyes. Dd2, like dd1, loves the ceiling fans!
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
Just the projectile vomiting...see random thread
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
Breastfeeding overall is going well. I just am still dealing with OS and OALD
- QOTW: What baby item can you not live without? Hmm, tula free to grow carrier, she seems to like it better than the k'tan. And using the rock n play a ton for day naps this time. Dd1 wouldn't be out down so not much use last time
