I woke C up to feed him because it had been 4 hours. Went to do a diaper change to help wake him up and as I'm lifting his legs to wipe his bum he pooped. It shot all over my shirt. Then as I'm cleaning that up, he peed on himself.
We're clearly off to a good start. How's your day going?

The small one is fighting his nap so he's fussing in his swing. Don't care. He needs a nap

We are staying with the ILs which is nice because we get lots of help with the baby. But between being extra fussy after the tongue/lip tie procedure and the change in scenery and sleeping arrangement, I haven't been able to put him down to sleep on his own at all. I really want to make better progress with his sleep.  |

We went away unexpectedly sat-sun and my house looks like I neglected it for weeks....the big kids couldn't be talked in to going to daycare today and the baby wants to be held at all times
Having a second cup of coffee to get by today

DD gave us 2 great 4 hour stretches last night so I feel good today. I know this probably won't happen tonight though.

I need to find a dimmer light for MOTN feedings. I use the bathroom light for diaper changes and it gives just enough light to see what I'm doing without waking DS completely but turning on my lamp to feed him gets him wide awake. Took a solid 45 min to get him changed, fed and back down at 2am.
We're having lunch with my coworkers tomorrow. It'll be our first restaurant outing so I hope DS does ok.

txcatlady Do you have a phone with a flashlight? I use my iPhone if I need a little light and set it facing away from me so that it doesn't shine right towards us. It's just the right amount to feed, change diapers, etc.

Managed to go to the grocery store and Chick-fil-a with both kids by myself this morning. It helped that DS slept the whole time and I only needed a few things at the store. I really need to set up my carrier because there is no way I could buy a weeks worth of groceries with DS in his car seat. Now we're home and I was hoping both kids would nap but DS is fighting it. DD is asleep but he's in his swing and wide awake. He'll sleep if I hold him but I have laundry to do.

I found most if the boys playroom again. It's been a disaster since we got home from the hospital and has only gotten worse. It was spilling out the door into the hallway. Trying to clean it with their help was not the most helpful, so I'll finish tomorrow while they are daycare since I have baby girl's one month appointment.
