We use the light in DS's closet at night for feeding/diaper changes, keeping the closet doors closed so we just see the light around the doors. I always found the closet lights unnecessary (they're regular closets) but discovered they're great for MOTN low light activities.

Anyone know when they start getting concerned about baby's flat head? DS's head is pretty flat in the back and he spent a lot of time sleeping in the RNP up until a few days ago. Just wondering if we should be getting concerned yet.

Just wondering if we should be getting concerned yet. I asked my ped at our one month and he was less concerned with the flat spot and more concerned with range of motion. L has torticollis, which can lead to a flat spot. We started PT today which is super fun with a 6 week old! Ask the doc at your 2 month - the therapist said that we're very early which contributes to better outcomes for both torticollis and the flat spot. She said they get a lot of referrals between 3 and 5 months. The stretches and positions are very simple.

sleepymonkey we do the same! One night I was fumbling with my phone and a dirty diaper and had an epiphany.

RE: lighting for MOTN stuff
A couple of years ago, I bought one of those alarm clocks that mimics the sunrise and slowly increases the light for 30 mins leading up to the alarm going off. It works really well as a nightlight because it's more of a red/orange glow on its lowest level. Definitely don't need it as an alarm now.
I know it's not Friday, but FFFC: I was transitioning drowsy DS to from being held to being put down for a nap, and his pacifier dropped on the carpet. I laid him down hoping he wouldn't need it, but he started fussing. His backup paci was in the other room, so I picked it up and put it in his mouth. Ugh. I convinced myself that the nipple part didn't actually touch the ground. I'm sure this is a FTM anxiety. He'll be putting all sorts of stuff in his mouth soon.

DD gave us 2 great 4 hour stretches last night so I feel good today. I know this probably won't happen tonight though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Jealousy! Poor DS was up with gas trying to poop from 3-4AM. MH changed his diaper, and then he pooped again while I was feeding him and continued to poop and toot while MH was putting a new diaper on. All he could say was, "Tomorrow is gonna suck." He went back to work a few weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

gimmesugar Don't worry, I've cleaned off DS1's binky with my mouth a lot. A few germs are good for the immune system

DS didn't sleep great last night. He was up and hungry more than usual. Hopefully he'll take a really good nap this afternoon because I would like to get some stuff done. I need to go through my work clothes and see what fits since I go back to work next week.

I'm torn between napping after C finishes eating or showering. Both boys were a pain to get to sleep last night after each wake up

I usually don't bother unless it's fallen on the ground in a public place. And then I pray that I don't get a communicable disease. But at home, I'm with you.

I attempted to take all three kids to an event in our downtown area this morning to find out it was at capacity....I had to drag sulky big kids back a couple of blocks to the parking garage and hear them whine until we agreed to stop at the mall and play in the kid area...which was also closed for "cleaning"
Then got a call from the peds office that they haven't been able to get our new born screen results so had to run over there to have them redone
the worst part of it all is that I ran out of creamer yesterday (I need dairy/soy free) so hasn't haven't any coffee at all...I dragged us all into the grocery store just to get some and will be savoring every drop once I finish feeding DD3
