sleepymonkey Yes, G was sleepy all day yesterday and then slept really well last night. If you follow the wonder weeks, babies are gearing up for a leap at 7.5 weeks. So I assume that's he reason. I have the app and the book and it seems like mine are following their birth dates rather than due dates... Did anyone else find that the same? Yes, it's only a difference of 3 days though.

chknma, he tends to sleep fine at night when he slept all day but then he's awake more the next day. Like this morning, he has been wide awake since 7am when he usually goes back to sleep for a few hours after his morning bottle. river, O definitely follows his birth date rather than his due date.

Omg, G let me put him in the PNP. He is entertaining himself. My arms feel so empty.

Getting 2 kids in and out of the car is really making me think I need a minivan. I love my SUV but the magical sliding doors of a minivan have never been more appealing than they are now. My lease isn't up until March so unfortunately I have to wait. I never thought I would actually want a minivan. I think I have finally given in to the fact that I am a middle-aged mom of 2 kids and function is more important than style at this point.

If we ever want to take the dog anywhere with us, we're going to have to upgrade too... one of our cars is paid off tho and I really don't want to start another car payment right away so we'll wait a while.

So I just had to Google how to remove L's carseat from the base. Dh always removes them but I dropped him off at work after their 2 month appt today and realized I didn't know where the release lever is.
To my benefit, it's on the back whereas C's (which is ds1's old car seat) is on the front.

Lol when H was bringing the car seat up to my hospital room he called me from the car because he couldn't remember how to release it.

We "upgraded" to a used old minivan before DD3's arrival. We have a suburban...but I take my old rusty van everywhere except long trips....so much easier....plus the extra infant base is still in the garage attic and I'm lazy ;-)

sagen makes me feel better hearing your similar experience. I talked to the pedi yesterday and we are just watching the spit up for now. I'm fairly certain it's over eating and OS/OALD related. My mom decided to prove that yesterday before I talked to the pedi by feeding dd2 6oz of Breast milk instead of the 3 I told her to give if needed while I was at my yearly eye appt and running a few errands bc she "sucked it all down." Then she immediately projectile vomited all over. She hasn't vomited after nursing since Wednesday morning and I have been timing/limiting feedings, smaller amounts closer together, holding upright after feeds, burping more frequently. I do block feed and have been for a while, but it's not really helping. May have to look into the empty block feed...is that feeding from same one twice in a row?

O slept in his crib for the first time last night! I didn't feel completely ready to move him out if our room yet but I think it was best with me going back to work. we have the video monitor and his room is right across from ours so I'm sure he'll be fine.

cubbiebear325 I have OALD and DD usually spits up all over me most mornings when I'm the most full. What kind of helps besides what you're already doing is to express into a towel during let down. Especially when you first start feeding. It pisses her off when I unlatch her but she struggles with gulping it all down anyways. She still spits up even when I do that sometimes though. But it might help? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lastkiss, he did great! We had to wait until he was fully asleep before putting him down for the night but after that, he was fine. He even went back down easily after his MOTN bottle. We'll give it a few days and then work on putting him down drowsy so he learns to fall asleep on his own in his crib. It's funny that he slept well in the crib since he refuses to nap in there. He wakes up within a minute if putting him down in his crib for a nap. Naps are either in his swing or on his belly on the couch (with one of us sitting next to him).

babystandish I have been doing that recently. She pulls off the majority of the time on her own anyway bc she chokes. But I remembered doing that with dd1 so restarted. Thank you!

I think we'll be making the transition in a couple of weeks - I tried a nap in the crib this morning and it lasted about 10 minutes.
