cubbiebear325 you pump both breast completely "empty" then start block nursing. I started last Sunday. I pumped till nothing more came out which ended up being 6 oz on the not recently nursed side, and 4 oz on the other. Then I nursed 2 times per side which was 6 hour blocks. I only wake up slightly full in the morning now, and feel comfortable and "soft" all day. The idea behind it is that the breast gets milk lakes, which are pools of milk that never dissipated when the milk came in, and blocks FIL, or something like that  The goal is to pump one time to drain, but if you become very engorged you can pump and start over. I would get engorged on the breast not used at the start of the new block, but I just hand expressed a bit. Anyone have experience with baby acne. I can't decide if it's acne or if it's a reaction to something. It's on the back of her neck, face, and ear. It started off on her face as a couple spots and each day there seems to be more. I've started wiping her face with warm water in the morning and in the evening, I've bought a new baby wash, and I have bought lotion to try. I just don't know what it is or what is causing it.

3 of my 5 kids had baby acne. If your all for leaving things alone, ignore me... but if it is driving you nuts carefully apply hydrocortisone 1% on her face, no where near her eyes, and it will be gone, or at least improve with in a few days. Stop no matter what after 5 days.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk DS1 had baby acne, I just do the same as you (warm water wipe down in am/pm) and it cleared up in a couple weeks. It could also be a reaction to the new baby wash too. If you think she has sensitive skin, a lot of my friends really like Aveeno for sensitive baby skin. |

I'm the only one up and enjoying the quite for a few minutes...pumping and drinking my coffee in peace before everyone else wakes up. Hoping my big kids sleep in because they were up late and we have a busy day ahead
