-Age/sex of your baby/babies? 6 weeks today/girl
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? Baby girl is starting to smile. We have another weight check next week. Fingers crossed for weight gain.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? Breastfeeding is okay. Small progress is being made, but it's frustrating not seeing consistent weight gain.
- QOTW: Babies can be demanding, angry potatoes. What are you feeling confident about this week?

Age/sex of your baby/babies? 5w3d - How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? No appt until 8/1. She has started smiling in the last week or so, kicking her legs lots when lying down and starting to coo. So cute! I am moving her to 6 months clothes bc she is a giant, but I'm super sad about it =( - Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? No, I feel like we are doing pretty well overall. - Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? Nursing is going well. She eats a lot, thus needing 6m clothes. Dd1 was the same way until 2-3m then really thinned out so I'm interested to see if K follows the same pattern or not since they were the same birth weight and are trending the same so far - QOTW: Babies can be demanding, angry potatoes. What are you feeling confident about this week? Nursing. She is a good sleeper and happy baby! sagen I have nip more in 5 weeks then I did with dd1 for 13m. I just don't care, if she needs to eat she needs to eat. I do still cover with a blanket though

river we moved dd1 at 6.5mo. She was a terrible sleeper and reverse cycled so it was easier since we have a split bedroom plan. I also had a nephew pass away from sids so rooming in and our snuza helps with nerves re:that. Dd2 will be in our room for around that time frame likely as well, though she is noisy sleeper so it wakes me up at times. gimmesugar kids get used to daycare and nap, act, eat, etc different there than at home. Our daycare has a separate place for cribs though all in one big room. They keep lights off over them and we sent a small giraffe that makes white noise sound for there. Plus dc wears them out! Don't worry about napping....he will. And dd2 has gotten herself on a fairly predictable schedule in the past 7-10days of wake up, eat, awake time for 1-1.5h, then nap. Dd1 got herself into a schedule as well, but I think a little later. Dc helps with that as well

- Age/sex of your baby/babies? Boy 8 weeks this week
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss? Going good. DS is sleeping better the past couple of nights so that's been great. 2 mo appt next week. DS has been kicking his legs on the changing table and aching for a toy I set next to it.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Nope
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc? Nope
- QOTW: Babies can be demanding, angry potatoes. What are you feeling confident about this week? Getting DS's spit up under control. He really just needs to be put on his belly to burp really well.

Age/sex of your baby/babies?
4 week old girl
- How's it going, any upcoming doctor's appointments or milestones you'd like to discuss?
4 week appointment this coming Wednesday. We saw our pedi last Tuesday as well so I'm praying for an acceptable weight gain.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
We're trying to resolve a diaper rash but have yet to find a cloth friendly cream that will do the trick. Currently we're using earth mama angel baby but we tried boudreaus natural too. Grandma El's is coming from Amazon tomorrow.
- Any feeding-specific questions regarding nursing, FF, etc?
Ugh so many lol. But you guys were awesome and answered a bunch in the randoms thread.
- QOTW: Babies can be demanding, angry potatoes. What are you feeling confident about this week?
Hmmm I'm having a less confident week than prior weeks. So not really sure... 🙁 DW goes back to work Wednesday so that also amps up all my emotions and lack of confidence.

rosesquared we had a bad rash and earth mama angel baby seemed to make it worse. Airing out DS for a couple of minutes between changes, to where the skin is completely dry then using CJsButter is working for us. although we did use disposables and Boudreaux butt paste (yellow tube) to get it cleared up before I got cjs.

txcatlady I worry about doing disposables to clear it up since they seemed to irritate her to begin with but that's not a bad idea!! I actually think the earth mama might be helping now just not fully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

rosesquared We had no luck with EMAB diaper cream. It either made it worse or would just keep it the same. Grandma El's or CJ's works pretty well for us. If it doesnt improve soon, disposables and high percentage zinc oxide

I don't know what the rules are for cloth diapers but my pedi's tried and true method to get rid of diaper rash is pepto bismol ( need to let it dry - fan their bum to help it dry quicker), a barrier cream, and then vasoline.
It's a pain but it clears the rash up within a couple days.

rosesquared, how is the diaper rash? If it's not clearing up completely, it could be a yeast rash and if that's the case, regular diaper cream won't work. DD got yeast rashes a few times in the first 6 months and they are a pain. The only thing that would clear them up was OTC athlete's foot cream. The prescription stuff the pedi gave us did nothing for it. Just something to look out for.
