It's graduation day so I'm up at 5:45am for my rediculously early graduation. What's everyone else got going on? 😊

Congrats rosesquared! Hope you have a great day graduating!! It's our last day as a family of 3 and I have a lot of mixed feelings. Overall I'm so excited for baby tomorrow, to see whether dd has a brother or sister, and see her be a big sister. Still having all the feels though about going from 1 kid to 2 and the probable change in my relationship with her. I'm also super excited to not be pregnant anymore since I haven't enjoyed it much this time, but also slightly sad since this will likely be our last and now I'm getting sad about the idea of not ever being pregnant again. Dd came in and cuddled in bed with me this morning and I teared up! Going to get all the cuddles I can today. 24 hours from now we will be a family of 4! Also piratecat, I have sinus drainage and a cough the past few days from allergies so I'm also looking forward to coughing with an abdominal incision.... |

cubbiebear325, I had every feeling you described, it's crazy how many emotions come along with the second kid, and amazing how quickly you adjust to the new normal. Enjoy the snuggles today, and good luck tomorrow!

Happy graduation day, rosesquared! I felt the exact same way on our last day as a family of 3, cubbiebear325. A mixture of excitement with a little sadness mixed in. DD has been adjusting ok but she definitely has her moments. I also have been feeling a lot of sadness that I will never be pregnant again, even though this pregnancy was rough and I know our family is complete. It's a strange feeling. We're at the indoor trampoline place so DD can have some fun and burn off some energy during toddler time. H is jumping with her and I'm just sitting here with DS. I think he has a blocked tear duct because one of his eyes has become very goopy. He has another pedi appt in a week so I'm trying to figure out if I should call tomorrow or just wait. Dr. Google says it's very common.

sleepymonkey we have a blocked tear duct over here. Our pedi said to call if we saw his eye turn red. If it's just pussy, we're to massage it and wipe away the puss.

sleepymonkey I don't remember if you're breast or formula feeding but if you're bf, you can put a little BM on the tear duct & that can sometimes help.

sleepymonkey and cmb we had a blocked tear duct too! We did a combo of warm washcloth, massages and a little breast milk and it cleared up in a few days. Our doc gave us a script for a drop, as he said it may come back. I was freaked out but doctor google helped.

Ds1 has a playdate today. We need to go grocery shopping as well. I'm hoping C settles soon - he's very gassy today.
