Right now my favorite baby gadget are my carriers (surprise, surprise, right?). Yesterday I had four in the car for two kids. Right now I'm wearing one and there are three more on couches, and one in my car.
It's, uh, a problem.
Talk to me about the kick piano. We didn't have one for DS1... but people seem to love them?

I'm also curious about the kick piano. I think DS2 would like it. I also LOVE my Lille baby carrier. I need a structured carrier or else I would seriously consider a ring sling.

We love the kick piano. It also folds up for when they're sitting. I like my kids have both loved it because the things that hang are large and brightly colored. They both love(d) kicking to make noise. And I switch it into "song" mode for tummy time. LO stays happy for longer watching the lights and listening to the music.
It's the best.

Today I love my swing, since LO napped for almost 3 hours in it!!!

I really love his skip hop activity gym. The part that overhangs above his head while on his back swivels down to be on the side so during tummy time he can face all of it so it's dual purpose and he will still be able to use it when he sits. We have used it daily since he was born and was definitely worth it.
I also got a ring sling this weekend and I am really enjoying it.

You guys are making me want a kick piano! We never ended up with one for DS. Adding - I also love my carriers and swaddlemes (and halo swaddle sacks).

We have the kick piano too and she loves it. I can't believe I forgot about our carriers! They are the best

Yeeess to carriers. I wear my Moby all day so I can just pop him in and out as I need hands because of DD2. I think I forgot about it because it's basically my shirt.

I just bought a cheap infantino carrier yesterday. I figured I'd try out a cheap one first and if DS likes it then I may splurge on a Tula. We shall see.

Be careful to make sure you judge it on the concept of babywearing than the feel. I had a cheep carrier and my better carriers and wraps feel far superior in the sense of comfort. I found the cheaper one's (despite the weight limits on the box) topped put at about 15-20lbs for comfort because they have nowhere near the back support.

Adding, not to get down on cheaper options because I also hated the Ergo which a lot of people love. I was able to try some out and settled on the Boba first and then the Tula because they are the most similar, but I still prefer my Boba. My observation on the cheaper options was mostly the lack of good lower back support which I can't do without. Just like I prefer my Moby to my k'tan for soft carriers because the k'tan doesn't wrap around the lower back so he topped out on that recently once he hit 15lbs I could do it anymore.

I have a Lillebaby carrier that's super comfortable with great back support, but it's kinda bulky. I'm soon getting a Tula Free to Grow which I know I'm going to love. I also love my Pavo wrap. I'm trying to find a secondhand Ergo for childcare purposes. S loves to be worn and I love the closeness and convenience, so my wraps and carriers are definitely at the top of my favorite gear list.
We have the Kick and Play Piano which S liked but she lost interest once we got the Jumperoo. Baby girl loves that thing.
I loved having a cosleeper and I don't know what we would have done without it.

I think I'm the only one that's going to say our playmat. The kid will seriously lie on the mat for an hour just cooing and laughing. He LOVES to be on the floor, even if it's tummy time!
I can't wait to get our bouncy seat thing out. Maybe MH needs to do that today... [sends text]
