My daycare provides formula. You can send in breast milk or your own formula if different than what they provide. Is that not common? Wow! No, ours does not provide formula. I just looked through our packet and I don't see any specifics other than we need to provide our own. But I did find their nap schedule so I have something to work towards! Make sure that schedule is for babies and not the center in general. Ours has a "12p-3p" center wide nap/quiet time but babies have their own unique schedules

For BM I would give them a freezer stash for the extra/just in case and send fresh each day so it's less work
Right now DD3 is taking 3-4 bottles of 3oz between 8-5
Sunday I put frozen BM (oldest from freezer stash) in the Refrigerator overnight to thaw...Monday AM I make her 4 bottles.
I pump directly into the bottles she uses during the day and then just have to switch nipples in for the disks at night. Tuesday-Friday I send fresh milk and then Friday's pumped milk is frozen.
You could freeze everyday I guess but would go through way more freezer bags. If I have extra any day I do freeze and add to my freezer stash

When we CDd DD2 at daycare I sent a diaper bag each day with 6 diapers and a wetbag. I just replaced the # used each night
If you can leave them there I would just bring in # to replace the # sent home each day

chknma do they just send back a bottle if she only takes 3? And when does the frozen just-in-case BM get used, or how do you make sure it gets used before too long?

Following this thread
I know my daycare sends home special red labels for breastmilk bottles. I was just talking about this with H today. We spent an hour in the infant room with the teacher back in March, and I ran out of questions. Now I need to do a follow up because I have so many!

+1 to figuring out bottles etc. We do a nanny share so we get to set the rules, which is nice. And we just stock the other house with everything during times we're at their place, also nice. Will be an adjustment for my nanny though, she'll have 3 kids under 3 when she starts watching DD!

cmb disposable wipes is definitely a possibility. chknma what did you do for wipes? Yes, extra bottle would come home. If it was still good (not previously frozen) I would send for the next day and put a note to use that one first..I would use frozen milk for a day where LO takes all fresh bottles but needs more for whatever reason.. Honestly we haven't been allowed to send frozen and never had a issue with needing more then we sent but it would have eased my mind a bit :-) We did disposable wipes for DC

Dd2 takes 4-5oz of BM every 2-3h. So I do half frozen and half fresh to cycle through freezer stash. She gets 4 bottles sent to daycare. Two frozen, which I set out the night before in the fridge to thaw. Those get drank first, then 2 fresh. Occasionally she will only drink 3 and not 4 and the extra comes back home for the next day. I keep a spare frozen bag clearly marked in the freezer there in case of a hungry day, spill, etc. I have ordered bottle labels from inchbug for both kids and love them (highly recommend-dd1 still has on her water bottles at dc). I put the label up high on the bottle for frozen and low for fresh so daycare knows what to feed first.
Ours allows pacis. I keep 1-2 spare outfits, blanket, socks, and a sound machine for her crib at dc all labeled. When she gets baby food, my center does make thier own and provides it which is nice.
We don't cloth diaper so I can't help with that.
