I felt like I needed a place to keep track of those still waiting im/patiently lol. When are you due and are you waiting for baby to come naturally or planning induction or scheduled cs?! If you're going to wait, how far past due will you wait?!

I'll kick this off. Due this Friday May 26 and most likely will hold out until 42 weeks (41+5 according to my mw but we'll see). My only concern is that my baby is getting bigger by the minute lol but I know growth kind of slows at this point. I'm definitely ready to get the baby out but really don't want to go down the rabbit hole that induction can cause since I'm trying for a med/iv free water birth.

Still pregnant *grumble grumble*. My due date is tomorrow. I'm going in and will potentially get another membrane sweep (not sure if she will since I have that infection), and we'll discuss induction. Originally I was willing to wait as long as they'd let me (which she said was 2 weeks way back when). But she mentioned one week last appointment, I'm guessing because she knows how done I am.
I also originally really wanted a med-free birth, and I still do, but I'm not as tied to it. I do want to avoid a csection purely because of the recovery, but that's about all I care about at this point. My FMLA is being eaten up, and I feel crappy almost all the time. I'm guessing we'll look at having the induction for early next week if need be, which I am coming to terms with.

angryowl you're having contractions, right? If so, and they're doing progress, if you end up going in for an induction, I would suggest seeing if they'll break your water to start it to see if that'll jump start labor..

angryowl ask your MW what your bishops score is. I have to Google, but I recall at a certain number your risk for a csection with induction is the same as natural labor. My friend had two inductions with out an epidural, but FX you go on your own soon!!! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk Eta link: www.mamanatural.com/bishop-score/

Yep still pregnant. Like angryowl - grumbly about it. DS was early and I've had contractions for a week and a half now, so I'm like, come on now. Due date is Tuesday. I have an induction scheduled for then, bc my OB says there's no downside for me given the state of my cervix (2 and 50% for the last week or 2). I had pitocin and an epidural last time with no issues and delivered a 9.5 pounder so I'm fine with the meds, though I'll wait as long as I can for the epidural so I can walk around.

Yeah, prodomal labor, I guess? I was making about .5cm progress/week, but for the past 1.5-2 weeks I've been at 2cm and 80%. That's good to know!

From the info I have, looks like I'm a 5, which it says means the induction won't be successful. I need to ask my doctor about some of these tomorrow, though.

sagen the bishop score is super interesting!! Thanks!! I'm somewhat skipping my 39 week appointment because of scheduling issues so my next appointment isn't until Thursday. Really hoping my cervix has made more progress!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still pregnant. I'm due Thursday (5/25). Right now I'm okay with going to 42 weeks if my OB lets me. Ask me again in a week though LOL. DS1 came at 40w4d on his own so I'm hoping this one isn't too late if it happens again. I definitely feel done, but not done enough to be induced quite yet.

My due date is 5/30, (or 5/26 based on my LMP, but I was pleasantly surprised at how accepting they were of my EDD based on my tracking), and scheduled for CS on Thursday at 39w+2 with a breech baby. I kinda wish we could wait longer but also kind of ready to be done being pregnant. Constantly flip-flopping about how ready I feel about having a baby.

I feel for everyone. I hope these babies show up soon.
Due date is Thursday. It's wearing on me physically and emotionally. Last night was rough, I think the hormones got the best of me. Loss brain still creeps in when I feel like she's been quiet for a stretch.
The midwife that I saw last week wants to induce at 41 weeks, which made me very hesitant since I was hoping to have a med free birth. I looked up some research about when to induce since she started stating multiple risks and I wanted to know how accurate that was. I found a Cochrane review that looked at 22 studies (over 9000 women) which basically found there are more advantages than disadvantages to inducing at 41 weeks than staying pregnant, so at least I know the midwife wasn't coming out of nowhere with all of that. If anyone wants the study, I can post it.
I have an apt this afternoon with the other midwife to discuss it further. I may try and ask to push back a few more days past 41 weeks, but we'll see based on NST etc. I'm ready to be done.
