How old is your LO? 3 months, 2 weeks
Are you nursing, pumping, supplementing? nursing and pumping at work
Questions/AW? Anyone have a brand of freezer bags they really love for storing your milk?
Has AF returned for you yet? No signs of it yet.
GTKY: What are your favorite children's books? I was going to ask for one favorite but it's hard to pick a single one! I like Giraffes Can't Dance and Llama Llama Red Pajama. I also got Rosie Revere Engineer for DD1 which I love for its message. DD1 really likes all of the Little Critter books and lately has been asking for Are you my Mother every night at bedtime.

Nursing/pumping @ work
No ?s
I've been spotting since having an IUD placed @ 13 weeks...have my follow-up appointment today....hopefully it will stop soon ...I didn't get my period back until 14 months with DD2 so this has been annoying
We have most of the Dr Seuss books from when I was little. I like the little blue truck books....the crayon books...we have sooooo many books that I can't even think of that the big girls like

Nursing and pumping at work. And maybe we are not done supplementing yet... 😞
I went back to work last week (all of two days) and I think my supply may have dipped. J has been so hungry and fussy, which could be a growth spurt but I pumped this morning between feedings and hardly got any. 😢
No period yet but haven't stopped spotting. 😖
I've collected a lot of random children's books over the years that I'm excited to read with J. I'll have to get back on a favorite.

Yes?!?! So not fair, no bottles, pacifier, not STTN, still it happened!
I like the Llama Llama books. My older kids love Captian Under Pants, my oldest is reading Harry Potter.

piratecat my pumping output yesterday we disappointing too, but I think I remember from pumping for DD1 that sometimes happened on Monday - hopefully its better today. chknma I love the Dr Seuss books but some of them are so long! Sometimes I make DD1 pick again when she picks One Fish, Two Fish before bed. sagen sorry about AF, that is totally not fair!

4 months 1 week twin boys
Pumping
I'm struggling with the size of my shield for my right nipple. I feel like half the time I need a 27mm and half it's too small. Is this normal ? I have a blister on it now because it was too small last night.
Non period yet
I really like the Nick Bland books. Particularly the Very Cranky/Noisy/Hungry Bear series. I think there's 5 in total

sagen ugh that is so not fair. I cringe when I hear people say (even worse that their doctor/MW told them) that exclusively breastfeeding is an effective form of birth control.

So I'm still kind of experimenting with pumping at work and trying to figure out what works best. So far, I have gotten 8 oz. from pumping twice/day, or 9 oz. from pumping 3x/day - 10a, 12:30p, 3p. I don't know if changing up the times I pump might give me a better yield, maybe my first pump should be earlier? I feed him twice before leaving for work, the last feeding at 7:30a. I feel like one ounce is almost not worth the extra time spent, but on the other hand, I want every precious ounce I could get. Even one more ounce would make me feel like it was worthwhile.

With J still waking so frequently through the night I honestly cannot make myself get up any earlier to feed and pump before work. I have tried pumping after he goes to bed and got so little that it was discouraging, although I know that the idea is to empty and stimulate and the actual yield doesn't matter as much...

piratecat have you upped your water intake? What food/snacks are you eating? Oatmeal with Brewer's yeast and almond flour is my go to for breakfast. And fiber/nut bars. Double check your filange sizes. It does take a little bit to see an increase. Try not to get discouraged.
