We're still in the middle of a rough patch - leap four and sleep regression. Violet is especially grumpy in the afternoons. Lucas has rolled over a few times but is surprised every time it happens.
Our big news is that both kids are getting a consultation with an orthotist for helmets. Despite PT, propping/positioning their heads, and tummy time, they still have flat spots. I suspect Violet won't need one, but Lucas will.

river boo grumpy babies. We also had a couple of fussy days and now I'm thinking it might be due to my supply dipping after going back to work. But today he seems better, although he is not quite as smiley as usual. Today was my first day trying to work from home. J was surprisingly cooperative and slept in and took a couple of good naps. I got 5 solid hours of work done and I think I might try going in to work earlier to get the rest in. I really hope he keeps this up and we can get into a bit of a routine.

Congrats on making it through Day 1 pinkmickey24! Just 4 more to go until a long weekend! Maybe the eclipse set off some kind of cranky baby effect? J has been so easy going and content but the past few days she has been a handful. DH somehow made it halfway through his month of paternity leave without being home solo with both kids until yesterday - everyone survived! I got a little annoyed with him because last week he used all 20oz of milk I had in the refrigerator in a single day - everytime she fussed even a little he stuck a bottle in her mouth. He did much better yesterday. piratecat I'm wfh twice a week but I'm really looking forward to when DH's paternity leave ends and I'm actually home alone on those days, even though it will mean I'll need to pump those days. My wfh days now with everyone home are kind of ridiculous. I basically had this happen on a call last Friday, except my toddler was only wearing a pull up:

DH and I are building a house! We picked our floor plan, lot and brick color on Sunday! We're a little nervous because our builder requires our house to be on the market by the end of September and our new house won't be done until feb/march eek! We're hoping we can make it work out and not have to move twice, but in the end we're getting a new house that's better for DS (better schools, better neighborhood, more space) so we'll deal with it if it comes to that. I'm definitely looking forward to the long weekend so I can start cleaning out our house

Busy week last week due to vacation. Finally back on track to regular schedules. I'm short on patience with the bigs and I feel bad. I need to find a balance with the three.

The boys had their 4 month appts yesterday. They survived their needles and Logan handled them much better than last time. Both were just sleepy.
Logan is now 11lbs 13 oz (birth weight 4lbs 5oz) and 24 inches (18 at birth). Connor is 13lbs 3oz (6lbs at birth) and 24.75 inches (20.5 at birth). Logan's closing the gap between them but he still seems so much lighter.

Mine handled their shots well last time, but since we're having some rough days, I don't know if it will go as well this time.
