Re: solids. This kid hates peaches, which is so weird because it's DS1's favorite! DS2 loves apples, strawberries, mangos, guava, and papaya. We're working on learning how to put puffs in our mouth so he's mostly fed pouches right now

Hi everyone! K just turned 4 months yesterday and we have her check up next week. Last week she was 12 pounds 4.5 ounces so she's a peanut but had a great week weight gain so that was awesome! (We still do weekly LC appointments.) She has great hand dexterity and is trying to sit up but not so sure about rolling yet. We suck at tummy time. 😝 We're in sleep regression hell and I'm dying to get her on a good nap/sleep schedule. Two nights ago she STTN so she's capable. I'm just not sure how to replicate it. I'm glad you're all doing well!!

My guy is back to waking up once or twice. Seems pretty common for him though STTN, then not, then back. I assume it is all milk supply related.

The boys are now 5.5 months. They're so ready for real food but DH really wants to wait for The recommended 6 months start. Logan could probably wait (he's just starting to show signs) but Connor is more than ready. However, we're still having issues with blood in the stool so I'm hesitant to add more potential causes.
The boys have been a mess this week at night. I went back to work so I'm sure that plays a part but Connor has been waking up an hour after we put him down just screaming. He's then an inconsolable mess for about an hour before he'll take a bottle and go back to sleep. Logan then woke up at 1230am last night with a similar reaction. I'm not sure if he ever took a bottle (DH took over).
Sigh.

cmb I'm also scheduling a meeting with our daycare to discuss concerns. I lost my shit one day when I saw DS sleeping on the floor on his tummy. They had him doing tummy time, he was crying and clearly tired, no one moved him to his crib, and then he just passed out. That's just one example. I called and basically yelled at the poor front desk lady who ran back there to make sure they moved him. Now I'm in the process of monitoring how long they leave him in various holding devices. Don't get me wrong, we use the bouncy activity center and stuff at home all the time. But it's like they just transfer him from one "device" to another all day and then I hear that he was fussy. Well yeah! I would be too if you just left me in a sit-me-up chair for 30 minutes at a time without a toy or anything. While doing that, I saw that they left him in his crib crying for close to 30 minutes before a nap...basically letting him cry himself to sleep. I was told specifically that they don't do that. I'm noticing that (despite my instructions) they're trying to put him down for a nap too soon....probably because of said fussiness that is most likely due to boredom rather than being overtired. Ugh.

Hi! DS will be 5 months tomorrow, is so close to rolling over and is teething. He's so alert and loves his activity center. We're also in sleep regression hell. Waking up every hour is terrible! Last night he slept for a 4 hr stretch, so I hope we're on the back end of it. I'm so ready to go back to STTN. Lol
We're also in the process of building a new house and selling our current house so it's been stressful lately. The new house will be much better once we're actually in it. There's a chance we'll end up having to live with my dad and stepmom for a few weeks which were hoping to minimize as much as possible lol.

DD turned 4 months a couple weeks ago. I forget her stats, she was something like 14 lbs, 13 oz and 26 inches. Sleep was going well until we went on vacation. I think since we were so busy she wasnt eating as much during the day and eating more at night. I'm hoping it adjusts back to one wake up soon. She's doing great at tummy time and can't believe how fast time is going. We are waiting til 6 months to start solids and I have a feeling she is going to love food unlike DS1.
