txcatlady ugh sorry you're going through it too. I guess ours could be the 4-month sleep regression a bit late. Aside from the first 4 hour stretch he was still up every 2 hours so I didn't think we could regress much from there. We went back to the swaddle last night and he did a bit better but then rolled over in it so I guess that's that. H really wants to sleep train and I'm resisting it. He can put himself to sleep about half the time right now and I'm not convinced it'll help with the frequent wakings, but I don't know.

I'm late to this...been super busy with a sick baby and then a sick 11 year old 😢 We're working with a sleep consultant (remotely) because I just don't trust myself to come up with a plan and stick to it. Things aren't terrible or anything, but we need to get rid of the pacifier at bedtime, which is super tough. It's our last sleep association to eliminate for that reason. Let me know if you're interested and I can forward the contact info to you.

gimmesugar oh interesting. I'm going to try reading all the things first (any recommendations?) and see if I can come up with a reasonable plan of action but I'll definitely keep that in mind. I'm sorry you've been dealing with sick kids, I hope they are on the mend! I am in the process of introducing a bunny blanket to J. Does anyone else have babies that knead while they nurse? He's starting to knead on the blanket while he nurses and both of my cats are really into kneading on blankets...

piratecat check out baby sleep site. They have a lot of good info. A gets a lovey blanket. My first has one as well. They held them during feedings and sleep On pacifiers- around 6 months is when they start to figure out how to get them in their mouths on their own and sleep greatly improves as they find it themselves

I think A has finally figured out this rolling thing. He did it last night 3x to belly while playing on his mat, and I pretty sure he slept on his belly last night and rolled himself back.

I just switched back to cloth and DD3 went from poop every 2-3 days to daily or multiple times a day. 😒
Maybe related to teething? She's got the two bottom and one of the top is coming in now. She's also very interested in my food so I need to get it together and grab a high chair. I found one through a local swap I might grab because I was just going to get one from ikea anyway. We need a freestanding one now that our household # is bigger then our table!

cmb Yay rolling! My son has discovered that he likes to sleep on his side. It's so nice when they can just make themselves comfortable. I assume you all finally made it through the frustrating swaddle transition? chknma Ugh, that sucks. I will say, though, I get nervous about an impending poop-splosion if DS doesn't poop for a few days. AFM - AF is back 😢 that is all

gimmesugar yes! We went cold turkey with it when we sleep trained- figured to just do it all at once instead of potentially having multiple times of having to "redo" sleep training. He's also learned how to find his pacifier and put it in his mouth. So amazing

cmb Awesome!! Yeah, best just to rip the bandaid off. We've done 3 nights of sleep training thus far, and DS has done a great job. I was so prepared for drama when we put him down without the pacifier the first night, but it was no big deal to him. Now we're back to just one middle of the night feed and one early morning feed.

DS has been waking every 2 hrs for a while... it was cold last night so I put him in bed with us at 11pm and magically he slept with only 1 wake up. I was so resistant to co-sleeping but It's the only thing that's gotten us some decent sleep in almost a month 😬I think once DS can roll back to belly and belly sleep he'll sleep in his bed better... at least that's my hope. I really miss him sleeping 7 hr stretches... stupid sleep regression has us all messed up

Baby girl is 5 months. She is just over 13 pounds, and she wants to play and run with her brothers badly. She is still my happy laid back baby.
She has bronchiolitis and one brother has hand foot and mouth m, as well as, an ear infection. Praying no one else gets it.
Life has been crazy since returning to work and the boys started school.

pinkmickey24 sorry about sick kids! Hope they feel better! We're definitely bedsharing club this time around - 4-5 hr stretch in crib then she comes in with us. SO much more sleep that way. Even tho I think DH would rather not bc it makes him nervous. I love it.
