The time is near for me to start making my own adjustments during yoga class. Cobra ain't gonna fly anymore. I think I'm also going to look up some pregnancy specific yoga videos to do at home because my pelvis and lower back are killing me. If you find good ones please link drop. I'm terrible about stretching. |

Update on the kitties! A friend of ours works for GRASP and took them in this afternoon. They'll be seeing a vet tomorrow and will be up for adoption soon. It's a no-kill shelter so I'm very happy they'll be ok. I was on the verge of just keeping them myself lol

Since it's kitten season I keep seeing adverts for them and I'm like omg I need that kitten. And then I remember they grow up into hunters and leave dead mice and half dead birds in our kitchen for us to find in the morning...

No room left! But if we didn't find a place for them by tomorrow they would've been mine! Lol I'm a sucker for cats. Our oldest cat is 13yrs old and he would throw a fit if we added another cat, he's a brat 😂 |

All you can do is be there like everyone else said. My mom passed away a month before my wedding - and it was difficult - really really difficult. I can't imagine a week. My tips would be: (a) The day of the wedding - really focus on the wedding and not the passing. I had a hard time with the "I'm sorry to hear about your mom" sort of thing - it made me cry every time. (b) Make sure the photographer is aware of the situation and doesn't do something stupid like ask where the Mother of the Bride is (c) Make sure the dj is clued in (d) If they are doing the Mother / Son dance - make sure someone is close by the Bride - it was the hardest part of the wedding for me. |
