Come one come all. Commiserate. Advise. Help.
We are on day 3 of hell. 45 minutes or more to get R down for sleep. 4 nights ago she was easily and blissfully putting herself to sleep, and now this.
This is exactly what her sister did. I can't do this for 4 weeks. Thank goodness she's cute.
Jesus take the wheel.

I didn't notice it with DS because he started rolling shortly after 3 months, and we had to stop swaddling. And then we basically started cosleeping out of desperation. So basically we were already getting no sleep and waking up 4+ times per night.
I'm super dreading it with Clara because she actually sleeps pretty well. I don't want sleep to to start getting worse! But she won't even be 3 months for another 12 days, so I have a month to enjoy sleep, hopefully...

I have heard the advice to basically do what you need to do to survive - like use the swing, do some mild sleep training like pick up put down, let baby try to resettle himself/herself by fussing for up to 15 minutes if you're comfortable with it.

I'm still in complete denial about this regression.

Does it affect naps? Or just night sleep? Or both?
I'm not looking forward to this

Does it affect naps? Or just night sleep? Or both? I'm not looking forward to this Everything. You are basically screwed. I think DS1's lasted only a week or two? Idk, I probably blocked it out.

I'm terrified for this. I felt like it ruined us for much longer than the 4 month time period. Literally terrified.

DS is starting to take longer to get down as well. I'm not ready and I'm scurred. There's not enough wine in the world for this..

We started a regression at 3 months. The only thing that's helped is putting him to bed at the time that used to be his last nap. It sucks. Please be over soon!

I'm pretending it isn't going to happen. If DS2 sleeps any worse than he already does I'm not sure I'll be able to function.

I lol'd at this, even though it does not sound any fun. His naps have been horrendous the past three days so I think we may be heading toward this a bit earlier than the 4 months

We are at 3.5 months. Naps have been a little harder to get her down, but it's mainly bedtime that's been the struggle. She also is rolling both directions so I'm sure that's not helping much. Especially since I had to cold turkey cut the swaddle out. Which was not my plan. Girlfriend likes her belly, and sucking her fingers. So hopefully she will learn to get them more easily. Right now she fights with them a lot.
