I left DS2 at home with DH today, since I take him with me to the office everyday. Of course he is having an EPIC nap, DH said he's been down for almost 2.5 hours. WHAT IS THAT?! This always happens to me when DH takes B. I don't get it. |

L used to sleep through the night only when it was H's turn to get up with her. I'm thrilled that she's STTN for me a few times now  Yesterday I put L down on her tummy for tummy time. She looked at me like "WTF Mom?" and rolled back onto her back. Well then. |

The second I put him down he rolls onto his tummy. They even said at daycare that he rolls over immediately in the crib to try and nap on his tummy. He still sleeps on his back at night, but I feel like the day is coming soon that he'll start to be a belly sleeper... (Good thing I sorted out the swaddle situation!) |

littleredfish Yay for his last appointment! Hope it goes well. We went to Target and got a few new pjs for DS then went to homegoods and I got a big mirror for the bedroom. Mistake. Did not think about taking two kids across a parking lot while carrying a mirror. The cutest little old lady ever noticed my struggle and offered to hold DDs hand as we walked across the parking lot. DD told her about planting our garden and asked her if she like tomatoes. It was my favorite moment of today.

Ugh. Baby girl is fighting sleep so hard the last two days. She hasn't taken a nap over an hour all day long. She normally takes 1-2 hour naps all day. She doesn't seem sick... I don't really know what's going on. But it stinks.

Well DH woke up DS2 at the 3 hour mark. I just got home he's been up for like an hour and 20 minutes and wants to go back to sleep. He just started a wonder week, maybe that's why he wants so much sleep.

So...before my first meeting of the day I went down to our cafeteria and made some tea. I got stopped by someone in the cafe and so was rushing back up the stairs and bit it. Landed on my knee and my laptop. Thankfully only 1 person heard me and I have zero clue who she is.
Walk into the meeting and my screen is shattered. So left the meeting and walked to IT. Thankfully they did t make me follow "procedure" and call in to get a ticket just took the guts out and gave me a new shell! IT at my company is never that easy!!!
Hmm...my knee still hurts.
DH is out with a buddy for drinks. His grandpa is getting worse so I may be alone this weekend with 3 kids.

I have to get both kids packed and ready for a 2.5 hour trip tomorrow... then solo parent with a crowd of inlaws for the weekend, and drive back on Sunday.
I have a headache and it's not even tomorrow yet.

Ummm... wildflower are you me by any chance? That is literally my weekend. 3ish hour drive to cottage with my in laws until Monday. They're barely helpful on a regular day so we'll see how things go at the cottage. At least I bought some vodka today. Lady looked at me knowingly scanning vodka from the lady in the liquor store with 3 kids. |
