4 months today!
Nursing and pumping at work
Anyone with a spectra pump get condensation spots in the tubing? Im getting some right where my back flow protector attaches. I have never seen liquid in the tubing but spots just appeared. I'm going to switch out tubing tonight with some extra I have at home, but should I try to clean it or just buy new ones?
GTKY: I love fall/winter holidays! Dressing DS up for Halloween will be fun!

txcatlady I haven't had that happen, but I think I read in the manual that you just need to let them air dry. Maybe there were some water droplets in the back flow protector? Will be 4 months on Thursday Nursing and now pumping at work 1st pumping session was a success! I didn't forget any parts... I think I triple checked everything in my bag last night lol. Omg I love fall. Definitely cooler weather. I felt like I was hibernating with DS over the summer. We have a Buzz Lightyear costume for DS for Halloween 😊

How old is your LO? 3.5 months
Are you nursing, pumping, supplementing? Nursing at home, pumping at work
Questions/AW? LO has really gotten into the habit of very short nursing sessions during the day (like 5-7 minutes total), and then eats for 30 minutes when she wakes up MOTN. Seems like we're still adjusting from me returning to work, but I hope this isn't the new normal.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to this fall? Football and hearty slow cooker meals. We typically make some kind of delicious snack to have while we watch the afternoon games and do a different slow cooker recipe for dinner every weekend. Grilling is fine in the summer but I am looking forward to stew, and chili, and pot roast and stroganoff, and pulled pork...

dmorgendorfer DS goes through phases of that too. I know milk flow is faster during the day than at night, so that might have something to do with it. I find that he's much less distracted and more "leisurely" when he nurses after a good long nap since he's still pretty sleepy. I also know that he's not swallowing all the time when he nurses at night, so I think he uses me as a pacifier too, which doesn't happen during the day.

txcatlady I never really noticed, but after your comment I looked and my tubing does have lots of spots in it although I've never seen fluid in there. I store my pump parts in the refrigerator during the day, I wonder if having the backflow protectors in there is causing some condensation? I'm still using my pump from DD1 and haven't had any issues with it.

GTKY: What are you looking forward to this fall? I love seeing the leaves change color. We are also hoping to get some hikes in and maybe try camping with the little guy before it gets cold.

-4 months on Tuesday - nursing only - Things are going do well. I finally feel like the supply is 100% under control. I don't get engorged anymore, annd on the rare occasion I do he just nurses, and it takes care of it. It's so nice not to be annoyed with over supply problems. -Everything as well! I am excited to layer. I am sick of shorts, sandals, and t shirts. Bring on pants, boots, and cute cardigans!
