Baby girl had another weight check and she is finally back to her birth weight, 7 pounds 11 ounces. Next week is her 2 month well baby, so hopefully we see continued weight gain.

It's my last week of maternity leave ðŸ˜. I'm not really ready to go back. This leave has went by so fast. Between dh and the grandmas dd2 has 3 weeks until she starts dc at least.
Dd1 wet the bed last night, which never happens, but I don't think dh took her potty before bed. Usually I put her down but he did last night. So she was up from 3-6....so tired. Let her sleep in this morning and took her to dc late.
Dd2 is still not sleeping well during the day though her leap ended 4 days ago. It's like she can't stay asleep more than 1 cycle unless held or car nap. Good thing my mat leave to do list was done a few weeks ago. She is still sleeping well at night though so that's good. Slept 830-3, 330-7 last night. Right now she is asleep in the car seat from taking dd1 to dc so just ate breakfast super late and going to try to work out before she wakes up!

pinkmickey24 Yay for weight gain! Keep growing baby girl! cubbiebear325 Sorry this is your last week! It goes by so fast! I hope DD2 gets her sleep back on track. We have the opposite problem right now (in the middle of leap 2). DS's naps are going much better, but now he's waking up more often at night just needing to fuss and be soothed. He used to just wake up to feed a couple of times per night. Hopefully these kiddos get this sleep thing figured out soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Logan had a horrible day yesterday. I don't think the antibiotics I'm on are making his tummy feel very good. We pulled some freezer milk and he's better today. Both boys slept 6 hours last night. They didn't go down till 11pm though....
Does anyone want a coupon code for 25% your next online order to the Children's Place? They aren't valid for Canada so I can't use them. I have two.

We took our first trip to the beach. It was spur of the moment, but went really well! On top of the trip going well, they slept from 11 to 6 last night, so I might bring them to the beach every day! We had their 2 month appointment last week, and Lucas weighed 4 oz more than Violet. Not bad considering she outweighed him by almost a pound and a half.

G has decided sleep is for the weak apparently. AF started this week, so I am a ball of anxiety and bitchiness. Dh is at work of course so he is at least spared my bad mood.

Why can't I get my eating on track? I keep telling myself that I am going to start eating healthier and lose the large amount of weight I gained over the last 3 years but then I just crumble the second I'm around cake, cookies, candy, chips, etc. Where has my willpower gone and how can I get it back?

DS slept 5 hrs last night! But then he didn't really get back to sleep longer than about 30 min. So I got like 30 min of sleep between 3-6am. I'm tired today. I go back to work a week from Wednesday and I'm not ready.

sleepymonkey I hear you on will power. I just started using the My Fitness Pal app that I used to lose the weight before getting pregnant with DD. You can set your goal and it sets your calories. I fully committed to it Friday and have started seeing results according to the scale. Just wanted to let know if you are into using an app on your phone. Good luck! Looks like I'm not the only one who's been awake since 3 this morning. I've been trying so hard to keep B awake more during the day in hopes that he'll sleep more at night but it is not going so well. Last night he was up at 1 to eat then again at 3 and would not settle until 5. Then of course it was time for me to pump then shower. Pass the coffee!

tortor4 Does B take really long naps during the day? I think I read that the rule of thumb is "sleep begets sleep," so theoretically, good naps *should* lead to better sleep at night...unless baby is sleeping, like, 4 hours at a time or something during the day. I just heard that keeping a baby up a lot during the day leading to more night sleep is a myth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

+1 on bad eating habits. Evenings are the worst for me, and I know that lack of sleep is contributing to my crazy appetite for junk. H and I have been getting takeout A LOT because I'm too tired to even get a freezer meal going. Tonight, though, I refuse. I took some of my prepped food out of the freezer to defrost for tonight.

@gimmiesugar That's one of my problems is being too tired to cook, so we order out. We only have 2 places that deliver. So I have been ordering salads to try to eat better, but I do love me some french fries.
