lupincat we switch between the swing, mamaroo, play mat and just holding him on my lap while we play with C. Luckily C loves to "play" with him so it doesn't really seem like she minds having him around while she plays.

Add me to the growing too fast club. DS2 is wearing a 6 month onesie today and it fits perfectly. What do you guys do with baby while s/he is awake? I'll put him on his play mat for a bit but he doesn't last all that long. He mostly wants to be held in a sitting up position which is hard to do for an hour+ with a toddler wanting my attention too. I wish he would just chill in his bouncer for a bit but yeah right. Our toddler demands that baby goes in his sit me up seat so he can look at baby... baby also likes looking at colors on the tv so baby tv shows

Oh man thinking back to have one baby I think it is harder in so many ways. You always feel the need to entertain this absolutely adorable little blob, I find it a lot easier to just include the baby with older kid stuff I carry him around, set him on my lap while playing, or set him in the bouncer if we are eating, or cooking . Sometimes he lays on his little mat. He just gets included in everyday life though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

sagen, that's pretty much what we do. We just find a way to have O there while we do stuff. He sits in his bouncy seat and watches DD play a lot. If she's not around, I just move him from room to room with me and talk or sing to him. He does also love his play mat so he spends a lot of time on that.

He's just way more demanding and grumpy than DS1 was so he's giving me a run for my money. Doesn't help that DS1 still basically ignores his existence 😂 cmb When did you start using the sit me up seat? I have one and I've been thinking of getting it out since DS2 likes to be seated up.

A little over a week ago so about 10.5 weeks. I don't leave him in for long because he ends up slumping over after a few minutes.

Our cat is sick. She was totally normal up until Thursday when she became lethargic and refused to eat and the bloodwork showed liver damage. We picked up a crapload of meds and fluids and hopefully we can manage them all and get her to eat enough that we don't have to hospitalize her, which would make her absolutely miserable. We have to get pills into her, syringe feed, and give her fluids, which all require both of us, so hopefully the baby is cooperative and gives us the time we need to tend to the cat. I don't want to think about her not pulling through this but I'm scared. She is my first cat and she and my husband have such a special bond - he will be devastated.

piratecat oh no! I hope your kitty gets better! I've got to start packing away the 3 month clothes DS has been in 6 month pjs but now he's moving to 6 month clothes. DS has been smiling at me this week and it's just the greatest! DS rolled over during tummy time today.. might have been a fluke..guess we'll see tomorrow lol
