We've had a few rough nights over the past week and half, wondering how sleep is going for others? J has rolled back to tummy a few times so we stopped swaddling, she's sleeping fairly well in a Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit most of the time. She still wakes up 2x a night for feeding, but I think our big issue is figuring out bed time. What time is bedtime for you LO? Moms with toddlers how are you juggling bed time for both kids? How many times is your LO up MOTN?

Bed time is 6:30 or 7pm depending on when he took his last nap and if he's a fussy mess. He goes down and then it's the toddler's turn. DS1 has a bedtime of 7:30p, so if DS2 is still up, H takes over until I'm done with DS1.
He's 4 months today: he wears a sleep gown under a zipadee zip. He's then swaddled with a swaddleme or a halo swaddle on top of that. Final layer is a Tula blanket swaddle (my kids don't like to be cold).
Depending on the night, we have 0-2 wake ups. He's usually limited to 4oz, split into 2 2oz servings, of formula during the hours of 8p-4a because we're trying to break him of eating MOTN. There's only been once in the last 3 weeks that I've had to give more than 4oz at night. 99% of the time, he's content with a pacifier replacement.
We started that about 2 weeks ago when we released that he actually is hungry when he goes to bed but he's often too overtired to want to eat. He often now takes 6-8oz right before bed, we just have to wait until he starts to doze off then he's willing to eat. What was happening was he would eat 10oz a night, and our sleep was greatly affected. Obviously, if he's hungry we offer the bottle, but he's very often content with just taking his pacifier
We've been in the 4m regression for a few weeks now (yay early regression 🙄) so that's why we started trying to do some gentle training. I won't let him CIO at this age, though, so if I have to change things or give more formula one night, i do/will

Dd2 goes down between 7-730. She has meltdowns otherwise and it's very obvious she's ready. Occasionally she will even go down at 645 if last nap was too early. She sleeps usually until about 630 with 1-2 wake ups. We seem to be in a regression the last 10-14 days where it has been 2 instead of 1 wake up. First one is 1-130 And second is 430-515. She is too big for halo swaddles so I have just been doing a&a or tula blanket to swaddle. But she breaks out, chews on her hands and wakes herself up. I'm thinking this may be part of the recent 2 wake up nights. I ordered a swaddle up 50/50 which the arms zip off for swaddle transition and it should be here today so fingers crossed. She nurses a lot the second wake up but not much the first so may need to try paci and I've been trying to be better about not letting her nurse to sleep and putting down almost asleep and fed.
Dd1 only naps <50% of the time these days so usually is asleep by 830. We bath or shower them together after dinner and then dh handles dd1 (usually watch tv and have a snack) while I get dd1 down. I then read dd1 books, potty, prayers, snuggle and dh lays with her for a few minutes before she goes to sleep

My DSD is going into 5th grade, and she basically puts herself to bed. So, I'm not much help on the juggling. DS's bedtime is 7pm with a 15 minute swing either way depending on naps. Last week, we switched up his bedtime routine to do the feeding first (boob, bath, book, lullaby/rocking, bed). He used to nurse mostly to sleep, and then I would swaddle him and sing a lullaby then put him down so that he would wake back up a bit before finally dozing off. He does go to sleep with a pacifier. He generally doesn't need a feeding until sometime after 5am. He falls back to sleep and wakes back up around 8:15/8:30. I keep expecting him to do his early morning feed and then wake up before 8, but he's just not ready for that at this time. He does sometimes wake up a couple of times at night, but like cmb, we try replacing his pacifier first. DH handles MOTN soothing and will let me know if he really seems hungry. He will immediately spit out the pacifier and be like NOPE 👎🏻 if he's actually hungry. Sometimes DS doesn't even need the pacifier and H just has to put his hand on his chest for a bit, or he'll just give him the pacifier for a minute and then take it away after DS calms down. Once he stopped feeding as much at night, his diapers were much more manageable because we used to have major leak issues. I do feed him more in the morning since he goes so long at night: early morning, when he first wakes up, and about an hour(ish) later (about 20-30 minutes before his first nap).

We are working towards a consistent bedtime routine, but with leap 4, sleep regression, and a transition to their cribs, we've been flexible. They go down no later than 8 pm. We feed, read a book, play a song before giving kisses and putting down awake. We were getting a solid block of sleep in there, from 7/8 to at least 4, sometimes 6. Then 4 became 3, and then 2 one night. So we went back to an 11 pm (or whenever we go to bed) dream feed of ~2 oz, which has worked to get us back to 6 or 7. I'm hoping once leap 4 is done we can drop it again. But Lucas is going to roll over any day now, so we'll then have to do the swaddle transition. Violet sleeps like a log, and is in no hurry to roll over.

The baby goes down around 8:30 most nights, but can take longer some nights so sometimes not til 9:30. We bedshare so its my bed time too. She normally wakes up once around 3:30-4am to nurse and then goes back to sleep fairly quickly. She was up a couple times last night but I feel like that only happens once or twice a week or during growth spurts. I put her in pjs around 7:30 or 8 and then usually retreat to the bedroom around 8 or 8:30 so nurse to sleep without distractions. We aren't really set in routines so we are pretty flexible. She usually starts giving me signs that she's ready to go down. It just happens to be around the same time each night.
DH is in charge of putting the toddler down. He's been in charge of that since February.

He sleeps at 9, he wakes up at 11pm, 3am and 7am to nurse, then up for the day at 8. He nurses pretty quick and goes right to bed, so it isn't too bad at all. We are room sharing till at least 6 months, I wonder if going in his room will help.

Where are your kiddos sleeping? Crib, RnP, bassinet, bed-sharing?
J gives me one ~4 hour stretch (usually from 8p to 12a) then wakes up every 2 hours +/- after. The 4 hour stretch is quite an improvement but I would love just one more longer stretch or one less wake up. 😞

piratecat DS sleeps in the Dockatot at night next to H's side of the bed and in a swing for naps (though I'm trying to wean the swing before he starts daycare since he'll have to sleep in a crib there). ETA: DS also sleeps swaddled and with white noise. We also keep our room pitch black. I will say that once he was able to sleep 4 hours, we saw incremental increases from there.

piratecat in his room in the crib at night. Naps are still in the swing in the living room. We moved him to his crib at around 2-3 weeks. I have the monitor on the lowest setting so I only hear if he starts to fuss. When he was in our room, I would wake whenever he moved

gimmesugar did Daycare say he can't sleep in the swing? That's where DS2 sleeps at daycare. I went out and got the one he likes since he didn't like theirs, but they don't mind him sleeping in it as long as he's strapped in

My baby sleeps for naps in his crib in his own room. Starting the night I put him in his crib, then he finishes the night in his RnP in my room.

When we toured, we just saw cribs along the sides of the room where each child could sleep. I honestly don't know where they would fit a swing. I plan on going there next week with my mom to ask questions that I didn't have before he was born, so I'll ask them. I do know that they won't swaddle but will use sleep sacks.

piratecat I just checked one of my sleep books, and the average number of feedings for babies 3-6 months old is 2-3 (low is 0 and high is 4). Breastfed babies tend to fall in the average to high range.

Dd2 sleeps in her crib at night, which is presently in our room. Naps are either rnp or crib usually. Though she just took a 2.5h nap in her swing today when dh put her in there. At daycare she naps in her crib though there is a swing there babies nap in
