river J didn't mind it the first few times we used it but he is now acting exactly like I'm sucking his brains out. Then I wonder if I actually am...

Yeah, both of mine hate the nose frida. Using the saline with it to loosen everything up helps. They hate that too but then it's easier to suck everything out.

DD decided she was up for the day at 4:58, I spent the last hour feeding her then trying to convince her to go back to sleep but since my alarm is about to go off I guess she wins this time.

We did it. We dropped off our sick baby at daycare for the first time. He's been super clingy the past couple of days but we put him down in a bouncy chair thing next to two other babies in their bouncy chairs and he was totally fine. A lot to take in, I'm sure.

Awesome job! That will happen for us the week after next. I'm sure he'll do great!

piratecat congrats on the raise! Hope your kiddo gets better quickly. I think DS might be teething. Poor boy is chewing on his fingers nonstop! I got out the teethers we have and he seemed to like them but he doesn't hold them well yet. Since it's September... has anyone decided what their baby is going to be for Halloween yet? Top contender here is garden gnome but not sure yet I got a Hedwig costume from Easy for F

I got a Hedwig costume from Easy for F OMG LOVE that. I'm irrationally excited about it. We don't even have anywhere for her to wear it—we don't get trick or treaters, and she doesn't go to daycare. But the cute!

Are you guys on the East Coast yet or getting closer to the big move? How's the nanny working out? We bought a house in CT that closes at the end of this month. But it looks like we may have to wait to move till January because of H's job. Sigh. The nanny is excellent. I'm trying to convince her to move north too lol. How are you guys?
