We finally got some decent sleep last night! J slept 7:30 to midnight, then ate and went back down until 6! Today is her first day of daycare. I was a little sad about it but DD1 loves it there so that helps. First day pic:

She looks excited!
We have a dreary day today as we are still rainy from Irma. We didn't end up getting hit other than some rain, though, so I am thankful.

@dmorgendorfwr Yay for sleep! I hope J has a great first day at daycare! Our first day is on Monday.
The 4 month checkup on Friday went well. DS is 15 lbs 2.5 oz and 25 in long. The shots were still tough but he calmed down faster this time. The pedi was in the middle of telling us that he's not teething despite all the drool, but then she thought she felt the edge of a tooth under his bottom gum. She did say it may go back down and not show up for a couple of months though. It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.

4 month appt on Friday went well. DS is 26 inches long and 16 lbs 13 oz. we were ok'd to start solids whenever we want but I don't want to start until closer to 6 months and DS doesn't seem ready yet.
I thought we were out of the leap 4/sleep regression crappy sleep but I was wrong 😕 DS slept 10 straight hours on Saturday night, but he's back to waking every 3 hrs at night. Hoping by the end of leap 4 we'll be back to better sleep...only 25 days to go ..ugh

DD3 is all drool and smiles.
Unfortunately we only made it through 4 days of school before our first case of strep :-( so we are on house arrest until tomorrow and I had to call out of work 2 days...I wouldn't really care except I resigned two weeks ago...luckily I gave a long notice but still causing guilt

chknma Awww! I hope she gets well soon! Don't worry about work. Everyone knows there's not much you can do about a sick baby.

She looks so cute!! My little guy is 4 months today, he started sucking his thumb which is sdo cute. We are going out of town with him tomorrow, first airplane ride, and vacation. Kind of nervous but luckily it will just be my husband the baby, and me. My dad is watching my other kids, should be a fun trip!

I went back to work Monday. I miss them, but it's so nice to have adult conversation. It's an easy transition because they're home with dad for two months before starting day care.

sagen good luck! We leave the 22nd for vacation and are flying with both girls. Hoping it goes well. It's a direct flight, which helps, and my ILs are flying with us! And dd2 just started sucking her thumb the last week or two. I think it's cute and nice bc she will self soothe with it back to sleep at night since she doesn't like pacis. I've been MIA lately. Work and the girls are keeping me super busy. Dd2 is still a giant, weighing over 18lb and what dd1 weighed at one year. I almost worry about her weighing too much at times. Dd2 has been rolling belly to back for a 1m or so. The past week she has been rolling back to stomach in her sleep but wasn't doing it awake. She wakes up mad though when she does bc she hasn't realized she can roll herself back and she doesn't always go back down easy. Good thing we swaddle transitioned recently (btw highly recommend swaddle up 50/50 for it). Anyone else lo doing the same? Finally today she rolled back to belly awake for the first time. I never remember dd1 doing something in her sleep first. And I'm hoping she realizes she can roll herself back soon instead of getting ticked and fussing

cubbiebear325 We are also using the Swaddle Up 50/50, and it's going well. At this point, DS just has the Miracle Blanket swaddle wrapped tightly around his waist with the 50/50 over it with the arm "pockets" still on. We started with left arm swaddled, right arm in the 50/50 pocket. A friend loaned us her zipadee zip, so I think I'll remove the Miracle Blanket and put the 50/50 on with the right arm out in the ZZ and then just use the ZZ after a few nights.

We had to stop swaddling Connor cold turkey when he rolled from back to belly during nap time 4ish weeks ago. He finally rolled belly to back for the first time yesterday.
Logan has been trying to roll belly to back so hard this week. I hope he makes it soon! We're trying him unswaddled tonight. We'll see how it goes

Guys I'm so not ready to give up swaddling. I don't think J would sleep at all. Thankfully he hasn't shown any signs of rolling over but I'm dreading the day.
At least I won't have to worry about the 4 month sleep regression since we haven't gotten nowhere to regress from. 🙄

sagen Good luck today! DD has been in Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit for almost a month. Yesterday I sent the 50/50 in with her for them to use at daycare and she rolled herself over in it so they took the arms off and she didn't nap much. Today I sent the Magic Sleep Suit in with her so hopefully she naps a little better. It's annoying for DH to have to take the sleep suit back and forth but I really don't want to spend $40 to buy another when realistically she'll grow out of it in about a month.
