Yesterday was DD 4 month well check. She is 12 pounds and 24 inches long. The doctor was pleased and described her as small but strong. I think my breastfeeding and pumping journey is coming to an end. Baby girls extremities started turning purple over the past week at different points. The doctor believes it could be Raynauds phenomenon. After some research my ADHD medicine maybe the cause of this. I could stop the ADHD medicine, but then I wouldn't be able to be and do my best each day. Sorry, I can't find the words to better describe my thoughts. This change will help give me much needed time in my schedule. Maybe the midnight bedtime and the 430 wake up for myself can stop. The evening routine will not be as long and I can get some control back of my time at work. ((Hugs)) you've done amazing for your girl. I totally get not wanting to stop your meds - you need to be able to function well. It was hard enough for me cutting out foods I like (man I miss cheese ).

pinkmickey24 while it could be the meds you are on, get her thyroid tested! Even if her test was normal at birth, babies can develop it in the first year. It's not common, but it's also not unheard of, and cold/discolored extremities can be a sign

lastkiss and cmb Thank you! It has been bitter sweet today. But I will say my morning felt smoother and less rushed and my evening has been calmer. I will definitely look into the possibility of it being a thyroid issue.

I hope you get answers soon, lastkiss! pinkmickey24, after the initial guilt, I was so happy when I stopped pumping. It was better for everyone. I’ve been back at work for two weeks and my husband is so good at the stay at home parent thing. I get dinner every night!! I wish we could afford to have him stay home.

Well we made it to Florida yesterday! Flight went well with both girls. They did great. Dd1 went without a nap since flight was at 3 and I am so proud of how good she was. Bummer is, it isn't really much of a vacation for me with dd2. She will not nap in the pnp even though she naps in a crib at school. So held naps it is. Our 4yo nephew is here (dh whole family and all in one house). He is so stinking loud and runs around the house super noisy. It's going to be a long week.
