sagen, I'm fitting into some of my pre pregnancy clothes- haven't tried certain things on because I know they fit tighter, but it's so nice to have more options!!

Congrats babystandish!!!!! sagen My plan once baby arrives is to spend my summer in my yoga pants. I have a bunch of the foldover waistband style which is nice because it allows for a bit of muffin top prevention. We'll see! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am pretty sure my pre-pregnancy clothes will not fit for a while unless I go on a diet!! But who knows! Today my weight was rediculous due to a ton of fluid retention. 😩😩

Congrats babystandish! Today was my due date and I still can't believe I have a 3 week old baby! We gave DS his first real bath(non sponge bath) last night and he loved it...until I washed his hair! The dishwasher installer gave up yesterday and lowes is sending a different company on Tuesday to get the new dishwasher installed. I found out that the jerk from yesterday tried to charge us an attempt fee and DH shut that down fast since he was rude and didn't complete the install that we paid for Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sagen I haven't even attempted my pre-pregnancy clothes and it's been 3 weeks. Well I did put on some workout shorts and they were super tight 😬. I'm still 14lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight... at least I was last week when I weighed in. I'm anticipating having to buy new clothes before I go back to work mid July Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah I'm not looking forward to prepregnancy clothes. I probably won't even attempt anything for at least a month PP.

babystandish I love the facial expression! You are all making me feel better, I want sure when I should expect to go back to pre-preg clothes, and it definitely won't be soon. Being home with DD is great, but intimidating. I feel like I'm never going to get the hang of it ha. I think that'll get better when my tailbone is better and I'm not as limited in my movement. And when she is willing to sleep somewhere other than on me or H. Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

I really want to try on prepregnancy pants. I'm only up 10 pounds. But I'm scared I will be really disappointed if they don't fit.

angryowl, being home with a newborn, especially as a FTM, is definitely intimidating. DD was a crappy napper from the start and I wanted to cry most days the first few weeks. Luckily DS is a much more laid back baby but I am intimidated by being home with him and DD. It's never easy.

Definitely not trying on any non-jersey knit prepreg clothes for at least a good two months. Probably just before I go back to work. With DS I remember frantically shopping for work pants the Saturday before I went back on a Monday.
DD (first time I've gotten to use that!!!) is still being monitored in the nicu. Her tests so far have all come back good, echo was clear so no heart issues (whew), they just want to monitor her to make sure she's not having any more low O2 episodes. I'm hoping this means she gets to come home tomorrow or the next day but we'all see - all depends on how she does overnight. Only problem is I'm being discharged today so wil have to go find somewhere to get a couple hours of sleep tonight. I don't want to leave bc breastfeeding is actually going really well - my milk is already in!!! Took five days last time!!! - and I don't want to screw it up.
Also, DS got to visit his new baby sister today and it was super cute. And I'm realizing how parenting 2 kids can be a little but if a tug of war of heartstrings - I want to be here for DD but I miss my little guy.
Anyway thanks for letting me rant, that was way too serious.

Congrats babystandish! irish14 I'm glad the tests have come back with no issues. Big hugs though. I hated being discharged with the boys still in the nicu. I tried on my fat jeans the other day and couldn't get them over my hips despite being almost st pre pregnancy weight. It was disappointing. I guess I'll live in sweats for a while longer

babystandish Yay, congrats!!!! I still have the 4 month pregnant-but-not-pregnant belly so I'm sticking to maternity clothes if I have to leave the house. DS1 changed the structure of my hips so much, I'm interested to see if DS2 shifted things around again. Flowy shirts are my friend!
