river, I probably wouldn't let her watch them alone if you're at all worried about it. You would probably just spend your time out worried about them which would kind of defeat the purpose of the night out with your H. I'm completely comfortable with my parents watching DS but if MIL expressed a desire to watch him, at this point I would not be comfortable. She's not warm and nurturing at all and like your MIL, would probably say something about DS that would piss me off (she does it with DD all the time).

I need to try on some of my work clothes and see what I can get away with and if I need to pick up a few things....I need to update my work wardrobe anyway but don't want to spend too much now while my body is still changing ....plus DH has a full work week and weekend and I do not want to be dragging 3 kids into a dressing room...

I ventured over to TCF last night to see what was going on there and it has pretty much died. I must admit that it makes me sad. I miss everyone being in one place. I go over to APTM sometimes but it seems that a lot of people have just dropped off. I would love to know how some of the ladies on from Pregnancy are doing but it seems like most of them are gone now.

It does make me sad too. I find the forums much easier to follow vs. FB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sleepymonkey I miss it too. APTM is pretty slow and I don't FB. That said I've not been a good forum member and mostly lurking these days so.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts for my cat. Getting all the meds into her has been challenging but we are managing and she is hanging in there. We have an ultrasound and consult with a specialist on Friday so we'll know more then.

In other news, it looks like we'll actually have daycare for J starting in September so that is a huge relief. It's not my first choice but beggars can't be choosers and sadly that's what we are.

piratecat, it is sad. A lot of us were together since GKU, TTC>35, TTTC, etc. so it sucks to have everything end so abruptly. I'm glad your cat is hanging in and tolerating the meds. Hopefully the u/s and consult go well on Friday. And yay for lining up a daycare! I'm sure it will be fine. Are you on a waiting list for your first choice? You can always pull J out if/when you get in to the other one. We were on a waiting list for one when we started DD going to daycare but when a spot opened at the original place we wanted, we decided to keep her where she was because she enjoyed going.

sleepymonkey we are on a few other waitlists and I expect to get into our first choice by the time J is in preschool. 😂 I figure we'll re-evaluate if spots at other daycares open up and we are also considering a nanny share when our friends have their baby.

Did anyone give a second dose of Tylenol later in the day after vaccines? She has slept all day and is super fussy. Totally not her and I'm having trouble getting her to latch with and without the shield.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk I only did it at night, but I'm generally hesitant to give my kids Tylenol unless absolutely necessary because I'm allergic to it. You can give Tylenol every 4 hours, I think.

She is sleeping now so I'm hoping it is she's just tired still even though she slept all afternoon. If she is fussy like she was when she wakes up I'll probably give her some. My pedi said that the most common side effect is tiredness. I remember when DS was circumcised in the hospital, I could hardly wake him to nurse, so I figured he would react somewhat similarly to the vaccines. Basically, he had to sleep all day and we put him to bed early. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
