DD decided she didn't like what I picked out for her to wear to preschool this morning so she went in her room and picked out her own outfit. Unfortunately she picked out the outfit she wore yesterday that was in her laundry basket to be washed. Is it wrong that in the name of avoiding a meltdown, I checked it for stains (none) and smells (none) and let her wear it? It's not like she was as preschool yesterday so they would have no idea. She really wanted to show her friends her new Star Wars shirt. Okay in my book! I'm already bummed that I'll have to change DD3 every day when I go back to work next week and she starts daycare. I can easily let her go In the same onesie or sleeper if she doesn't spit up, etc....meanwhile her sisters seem to go through 5 outfits per day

Do they need an outfit, or are sleep and plays okay? That's all they wear at home!

Sometimes they would go in their sleepers if I was running late. I woukd send the outfit I had planned for them to wear. Sometimes they'd have it on or they would still be in their pajamas. I left up to daycare to choose at that point. We use an in home daycare, I don't think it would be much different for a center. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

My Insta Pot came today. I just ordered it yesterday afternoon, and it looks like the diaper bag I ordered Sunday just got here. It's like Christmas here today.

river, I know the daycare DD goes to says you can send babies in their pj's and they will get them dressed if you want. If DS went there, that is what I would do because he tends to have multiple outfit changes everyday due to spit up and diaper blowouts. pinkmickey24, I'm going to pick up my Instant Pot today after work. I plan on reading the Instant Pot thread on APTM to get some recipes to try. I'm hoping I can find some good ones that take 1/2 hr or less to cook because that's ideal for me on the weekdays after work.

riverI consider a good outfit to be anything that is weather appropriate for a while...onesie...sleeper...whatever :-) Cute baby clothes are a PITA and unnecessary in my book... Which is why we have so many barely worn cute dresses, etc. even with 3 girls!!

sleepymonkey I am going to make spaghetti tonight. It only requires browning the meat which you can do in the pot and then 6 minutes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Just got home from the chiropractor...I feel SO much better now. I've been going for about a year and a half now, and I don't know how I did without.

Has anyone experienced a nursing strike? Is this a phase? Is this normal? Baby girl started last night screaming and not latching with or without the shield. I'm at a lose and I'm about to throw in the towel. I will still pump and have about 60 ounces in the freezer that I was stashing for her return to daycare, but this has been a struggle from the start with supply and weight gain. If I can give her lumped milk at least I know exactly how much she is getting.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk I wouldn't call it a "strike" per se, but sometimes DS is almost too fussy to nurse. I've had to try a few different things: 1) Let him catnap and then nurse him right after he wakes up. Sometimes he's just too tired, but after 30 mins of sleep, he'll feel better and will nurse. Oftentimes he's more receptive when he's still drowsy. 2) Move to a dark room. As he's gotten more alert, he would get distracted if he could see too much, and if he was already overstimulated, he would just keep unlatching and arch his back. 3) Try a different position. A new position would sometimes throw him off enough to nurse normally. Side-lying or semi-reclined would keep his view focused on me so that he would be less distracted. I've also nursed on all fours with him laying on his back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

chknma and @gimmiesugar Thank you! I'm going to keep at it and try some of the above suggestions. I've tried the first, but not the other two. I put too much pressure on myself. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I'm currently stuck at Target, by myself, waiting for a nasty thunderstorm to pass. I was forced to get some coffee at Starbucks and wait it out. Darn.
