sleepymonkey, this is interesting to me. I'm going to put it on my list for our 2 month appointment. We've been on a similar night schedule for the last week or so, and I'd love to have quiet time consistently from 5-7... Related question for formula feeders - do your babies take consistent amounts at each feed? Neither of mine do. The witching hour has been in full effect lately. I feel terrible for the babies for being so cranky and bad for my husband who works outside in 90 degree heat and comes home to a symphony of crying. I remember

river not really, but the variation isn't as bad as it was before the reflux diagnosis and Zantac. Now we're at ~3.5oz per feed (gentlease + cereal in bottle), but there are times he only wants 2oz and others where he'll want 4oz. The majority are 3.5oz-ish. He clusterfeeds in the afternoon though and will chug through 8 oz's in about 2-2.5 hours

river , O is pretty consistent in his formula intake. He has some days where he wants to "snack" more but for the most part, he drinks his whole bottle every time. I got home from work and O proceeded to fall asleep on me. It's like "Ahhh, Mommy's home. Everything is good now." I feel bad for not being there for his vaccinations. Apparently he did well but his big sister became hysterical when he started crying from the shots. My sensitive little girl.

rosesquared I take 2 610mg capsules three times a day, so 1,830mg. It took a little over a week to notice a change. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I don't know if I started my period or not. I stopped PP bleeding/spotting for about a week, and now bright red bleeding again. If it is a period I feel cheated. I am exclusively breastfeefing, no binkis, no bottles, not STTN :/ Anyone else start so early? Glad your baby feels better tortor4Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

DS1 is two years old today *sob*! He's currently celebrating by being awake at 5:45AM, not cool bro. I'm hoping he falls back asleep.
Happy 4th everyone!

I feel like DS should be sleeping longer at night at 8 weeks. He's been up every 2-3 hrs most nights. We'll have a random night with a 3.5-4 hr stretch, maybe once a week. Im tired and I go back to work in 2 weeks. I'm considering having DH feed him a bottle of pumped milk so I can sleep but I'm a little worried about my supply if I don't wake up to pump.

Happy Birthday to your DS, lupincat! 5:45 is definitely not a cool wake-up time. DD was so excited for 4th of July this morning, she tried to get up at 5am. We told her to go back to sleep and wait for her click to turn green at 6:45. Not sure if she went back to sleep but we did. She came into our room at 6:45 holding her new 4th of July dress and yelling that she can't wait to see fireworks. Oh to be 3 again and so excited about the little things.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You aren't alone. DS is the same way, and he turned 8 weeks old on Sunday. The longest stretch we've gotten a few times was 4.5 hours. He goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:30, and his long stretch tends to be the initial one, which means we can't really take advantage other than being able to quietly eat dinner and watch some shows before he wakes up for the next feeding. On average, though, he's up every 2-3 hours. I asked the BF board about MOTN bottle feedings, and they confirmed I'd have to get up anyway to pump. They might have some ideas for you, though. Although I admit sometimes I forget. Honestly I feel like I notice the biggest difference in supply after power pumping. I've been trying to do it at least once a day. I've also tried these drops called Let There Be Milk (FYI they taste reallllllly bad lol) and I drink at least one Gatorade a day on top of a ton of water.
